Dear Praying Family,

March 2014, Volume VI, Issue I

"O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him" (Psalm 34:8). In the eleven months that we've been ministering here in Stonyford, we have truly tasted and seen that God is good! Indeed, blessed are those who trust in Him!

Trusting in Him for our daily needs also includes our spiritual needs - The need for spiritual disciplines in our lives. The passage Matthew 4:4 says, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." How often do we plan and prepare our daily food? Every few hours, I would say. How much more important it is for our spiritual body to feast on Jesus' Words? How much planning and preparing do we give to our spiritual man? This has been a challenge to us, personally.

Darleen asked Addie one morning, "Where do birds get their food from? "From the store" was her obvious answer. Of course, the birds feast from God's storehouse! We should come to Jesus in complete trust as a child would. A fun quote a friend posted on Facebook says, "Have you ever seen an ugly lily or a skinny sparrow?" (See Matthew 6:29-30.) Indeed not! How much more does Christ care for us! All we need to do it TRUST and open our mouths and He will fill it. Praise the LORD! We've witnessed His goodness here in Stonyford. Just to name a few praises: Testimony after testimony of personal spiritual growth in our church family. God's provision to attend the Shepherd's Conference. Trip to Tennessee to visit family over Christmas. Quick recovery from various colds this year.

Enthusiasm in our Discipleship Class, Bible studies, and Truth Project. Visiting with other Village Missionaries in our home and at the Couple Getaway in February. Meeting new Stonyford residents. One of the best places is the Post Office! RAIN!!!

Please continue to pray for us in these areas: Weekly Discipleship Class. Men's and Woman's weekly Bible Study. More Rain. We've had approximate 16" of rain since October 2013. We need another 19" to bring us up to average. Sunday Morning Services (for Kevin as he boldly preaches the Gospel; for Darleen as she teaches the children; and, for all those who serve faithfully in the church). Rodeo week (May 3-4). We will be having the McIntire Family come share the Gospel in music and testimony. Many cowboys will be coming from out of town for this annual event. We hope to see many in church. Wednesday morning visitation.

Church Family One Sunday Morning

Thank you for your faithful support to us as we preach the Word in our community. In the Service of our Lord, Kevin, Darleen, Addie, William, & Philip
