The eNodeB LMT is mainly used to help Commsioning the eNodeB, locally locate faults, and clear faults. You can operate and maintain the eNodeB through the LMT in the following scenarios: p When the transmission between the eNodeB and the M2000 is unavailable, you can Commsioning the eNodeB through the LMT. p When the communication between the eNodeB and the M2000 fails, you can locate and clear faults through the LMT. p When alarms are generated on the eNodeB and related boards need to be replaced locally, you can locate and clear faults through the LMT.

Prerequisite p Before using the LMT, you must install the JAVA Platform Standard Edition Runtime Environment (JRE) plug-in of jre-6u11-windows-i586 or a later version in the computer configured with the LMT. The JRE plug-in is a standard Java runtime environment plug-in, which can be downloaded from http://java.com/ or http://support.huawei.com/. If the plug-in is not installed in the computer, the system prompts you to install it during login. p If the installed plug-in is not the latest version, the system prompts you to upgrade it during login. You are advised to uninstall the existing version before installing the latest version. p If you fail to log in to the LMT after the plug-in is upgraded to the latest version, restart the browser and then log in. Logging to eNodeB procedure: 1. Open IE browser, input the local OM IP address, The default IP address is 192.168.0.49, press Enter. 2. Set User Name, Password, and Verify Code. Set User Type to Local. Click Login

Field Description Indicates the physical operation status of the board, which can be Uninstalled, Starting up, Normal, Inconsistent, Unconfigured, Power off, Fault, Communication lost, In test, or the combination of various states. For example, if a board is not configured and fails to communicate with the main control and transmission board, the physical operation status of the board is Unconfigured, Communication lost. Indicates the operational state of the board, which can be set to Enabled or Disabled. Enabled indicates that services can be carried on the board. Disabled indicates that no service can be carried on the board.

Alarm Status Indicates the alarm status. Administrativ Indicates the administrative state of the board. The administrative e state state of the board can be blocked, unblocked, or shutting down. Standby Status Indicates the active/standby state. Active indicates that the board works in active mode, and Standby indicates that the board works in standby mode.

VSWR, Voltage Standing Wave Ratio Start VSWR Test (STR VSWRTEST) p Use this command to start a VSWR test, which is a high-precision VSWR test. The test result shows only the standing wave ratio of the antenna port on top of the cabinet. To obtain more details about the standing wave, run the DSP VSWR command. Display VSWR Test Result (DSP VSWR) p Use this command to query the current VSWR of the antenna. The query result of multiple antenna ports contains only the VSWRs of the antenna ports on top of the cabinet. The query result of a specified antenna port of a specified RRU contains the VSWR of the antenna port on top of the cabinet, other highest VSWRs of the feeder, and the distance from the positions of the highest VSWRs on the feeder to the antenna port on top of the cabinet. A maximum of six highest VSWRs on the feeder are contained in the query result.

Description Indicates the type of port. Indicates the port number. Indicates the type of route. If this parameter is set to NEXTHOP, all the IP packets that meet the route direction are first forwarded to the specified next hop IP address. If this parameter is set to IF, all the IP packets that meet the route direction are first forwarded to the specified egress port.

Destination IP Indicates the destination IP address of the route. Mask Next Hop IP Preference Indicates the destination subnet mask of the route. During the parameter setting, the following condition must be met: In the binary value to which the destination subnet mask is converted, 0 is not allowed to precede 1. Indicates the IP address of the next hop. Indicates the priority of the routing table entry. A smaller parameter value denotes a higher priority. Indicates the type of routing table for a static IP route. A static host route is a manually configured route whose subnet mask is 255.255.255.255. A static gateway route is a manually configured route whose subnet mask is not 255.255.255.255 and whose next hop IP address and egress port IP address are on different network segments. A dynamic host route is a dynamically acquired route whose subnet mask is 255.255.255.255. A dynamic gateway route is a dynamically acquired route whose subnet mask is not 255.255.255.255 and whose next hop IP address and egress port IP address are on different network segments.

Traceroute sends a sequence of Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) packets addressed to a destination host. Tracing the intermediate routers traversed involves control of the time-to-live (TTL) Internet Protocol parameter. Routers decrement this parameter and discard a packet when the TTL value has reached zero, returning an ICMP error message (ICMP Time Exceeded) to the sender. Traceroute works by increasing the TTL value of each successive batch of packets sent. The first three packets sent have a time-to-live (TTL) value of one, expecting that they are not forwarded by the first router. The next three packets have a TTL value of 2, so that the second router will send the error reply. This continues until the destination host receives the packets and returns an ICMP Echo Reply message. The traceroute utility uses the returning ICMP messages to produce a list of hosts that the packets have traversed in transit to the destination. The three timestamp values returned for each host along the path are the delay (aka latency) values, typically measured in milliseconds for each packet in the batch.

If you can run the PING command for the destination IP address successfully, and fail to run the TRACERT command for it, check and remove any redundant IP addresses on the same network segment as the IP address planned on the egress port.

LST CELL Output description

Description Indicates the local ID of the cell. It uniquely identifies a cell within a BS. Indicates the state of the cell instance. Indicates the latest available information of the cell, including the reason of the cell setup failure and the information of the successful cell activation. Indicates the energy saving status of the cell. There are four states: RF intelligent shutdown, cell intelligent shutdown, low power consumption mode, and automatic power-off at a specified time. Indicates the slot number of the baseband processing board where the cell is configured. Indicates the topology of the cell. Such as Ring or Chain topology Indicates the subrack number of RRU0 used by the cell. The value 255 indicates that the cell does not use RRU0. Indicates the subrack number of RRU1 used by the cell. The value 255 indicates that the cell does not use RRU1.

Use this command to block a cell. When a cell is blocked in high priority, the cell is deactivated immediately. When a cell is blocked in medium priority, the cell is deactivated immediately if no subscriber accesses the cell in the duration specified for blocking of medium priority, or if any subscriber accesses the cell in the duration specified for blocking of medium priority the cell is deactivated after the duration specified for blocking of medium priority expires. When a cell is blocked in low priority, the cell is deactivated when no subscriber accesses the cell. The function of BLK CELL (CELL_HIGH_BLOCK) is same with DEA CELL.
