Good and Bad Effects of Computer and Video Games

We all know that a computer game nowadays is very risky because many of the teenagers are being addict in computer games. There are good and bad effects of a computer thats why we should not abuse playing computer games. This topic is very important to search because there are many teenagers; especially teenage boys are having full-time in playing computer games like dota, garena, flyff and other addicting games. Playing computer games is very famous in our generation. Many of us seen computer games as a negative thing in our studies but how about the positive side in playing it. Here are some positive things in playing computer games. According to All Academic Research, playing computer games may not be all that bad for your children. Peng Wei states that educational games can be effective assisting tools in the educational areas of management, medicine and science. If you choose the right educational computer games, your child may learn better problem-solving skills and eye-hand coordination. Your child may also get the ability to think fast and think of multiple things all at once. Skills obtained from playing computer games may help your child learn quickly when it comes to his studies. If your child is struggling in one of his school subjects, there are many educational computer games available for him. There are math and reading related games that may help boost your child's skills. These games can be both fun and educational for your children.

Playing video games demands an interactive involvement of the players. As a player, you start identifying with some character in the game and act for it. This excited state of mind has a positive effect on the player. It is also said that playing video games is surely better than watching television as video games are interactive.

"Videogames change your brain," according to University of Wisconsin psychologist C. Shawn Green. Video games change the brains physical structure the same way as do learning to read, playing the piano, or navigating using a map. Much like exercise can build muscle, the powerful combination of concentration and rewarding surges of neurotransmitters like dopamine strengthen neural circuits can build the brain.

However, there are also negative effects in playing computer games.

Too much computer game playing makes your kid socially isolated. Also, he may spend less time in other activities such as doing homework, reading, sports, and interacting with the family and friends. Some computer games teach kids the wrong values. Violent behavior, vengeance and aggression are rewarded. Negotiating and other nonviolent solutions are often not options. Women are often portrayed as weaker characters that are helpless or sexually provocative. Academic achievement may be negatively related to over-all time spent playing video games. Studies have shown that the more time a kid spends playing video games, the poorer is his performance in school. (Anderson & Dill, 2000; Gentile, Lynch & Walsh, 2004) Video games may also have bad effects on some childrens health, including obesity, videoinduced seizures. and postural, muscular and skeletal disorders, such as tendonitis, nerve compression, carpal tunnel syndrome. Monitor the effect of video games on your child. Observe his behavior. If it appears that he is becoming more aggressive with his siblings or friends during the period that he is playing violent games, stop him from playing the games. If he becomes interested in history after playing historical games, then the game is beneficial to him.

B. this book is a fictional book. The characters here are just portraying the life of a teenager who has summer jobs C. the theme of the book is about Friendship, on how you will handle friends. Summary

Schooling is out, wildcat members got their summer jobs. Troy Volton, the boyfriend of Gabriella Montes got his job on the father of Sharpay Evans who has a crush on him. Evil Sharpay always getting Troy out of his friends to teach her how to golf. As time goes on, Troy is slowly changing, he doesnt have time for his friends. His friends sulked so they are ignoring Troy. In the latter part, troy realize what his mistake so he make sorry for his friends and Gabriella then they gave another chance to Troy and they became friends including Sharpay. Reaction

A. the book was nicely thought over. It was one of the good book I read because of the theme and issues the book raises. B. According to N.B Grace, there are many obstacles in our friendship so we should take care of our friends like a fragile. C. Struggles in friendship play very important role in the story, It says that we should surpass every obstacles in our life and forgive the people who did wrong. D. Just like wildcat members I also had a Friend who forsake me because he had friends that he thinks is better to me but then, he realized that his new friends are bad influence so he came back to me and say sorry.

Conclusion The book shows great knowledge about giving importance to the real friends. However, this book is not straight to the point because there are some chapters that is not important in the story still it is written there. As an advice for potential readers, you should read this book because this book is full of knowledge that we can learn. Also for the readers who love their friends and has group.
