one hundred eighty-sixth year of Ministry for our Boone’s Creek
Baptist Association. Many thanks to our leaders in our Association
for their hard work and ministry. Also, many thanks to all of our
former leaders who worked so hard in this Association in the years
gone by. I’m very thankful for our 37 Churches in their Ministry of
reaching people for our Lord in our Association, and for their help in The Web-Site is www.boonescreekbaptistassoc.com
reaching people around the world. I want to thank Tim and Andrea Kane for setting
up the Web-Site. They still have more to do.
A Special thanks to Irvine First Baptist Church for hosting our Semi- The Fax Machine is working now. hopefully

BEECH GROVE - Plan to have Homecoming on Oct./ 25 /09. fun. Our first 5th Quarter this year for the football team &
BOONE’S CREEK - Join us for Homecoming on Oct. 4 as we all students. Had over 100, had a great time. 5th Sunday
celebrate 224 yrs. as a Church body! Worship will be at 11 am Singing & Ice Cream Social– all donations went to
followed by potluck meal. Kent Humphrey will be performing a Scholarship Fund. Had a really good time, us Baptist love
concert following the noon meal. to eat. 9/14 Boone’s Creek Semi-Annual Meeting held at
CALVARY - Last month-we celebrated Homecoming w/Bro. First Baptist. Had really good attendance and lots of food.
Hoge Hockensmith as our guest speaker. We will have Revival 9/16 Ladies Night @ 6 pm. All ladies welcome. 9/18 Our
services Sept. 27-30 w/ Bro. Joe Mobley. Youth going bowling. second 5th Quarter for all students with live band. 9/19
CENTRAL - The Youth had a Social Kick-Off Party. Central Fish Fry– Good enough to make your mouth water. Fish
participated in Church Under the Bridge in Lexington. A Senior supplied by Reuben & Joyce Rose. I hope they had as
Adult Hymn Sing was held at Central. Harvest Day– Church’s much fun catching the fish and we did the eating. 9/27
99th Anniversary on Sunday Oct. 25. In Nov. the youth will have a Homecoming– Brother Raymond Flynn will have the

CORINTH - Aug. 29th held Community Wide Picnic and VBS coming soon.
Reunion, enjoyed gospel singing, horseback riding, games, JEFFERSONVILLE –We held a Back-to-School Block
delicious food and fellowship. Aug. 30th, Sunday AM Worship, Party to pass out school supplies. Two Bibles were
gospel singing with “The Klaves”, followed by Potluck Dinner purchased for the Frenchburg Group Home for boys. Our
&fellowship after Worship Service. Every Sunday Morning at Jr. Youth made a trip to Holiday World. Several attended
9:30 am before SS and Worship, a time of Fasting and Prayer. To Super Saturday at Immanuel Baptist in Lexington. The

EMMANUEL - Our Church had a Fellowship Dinner to celebrate Conference Oct. 9th &10th in Memphis, TN
Bro. Ron’s Birthday. Our Special Singers for the Month was the MEANS -
Duncan’s. MT. OLIVE-
EPHESUS– Our men’s softball team finished in 4th place in this NEW HOPE - Starting up Youth Projects and Sunday
year tournament. The last week of Aug. was Sunday School Evening activities for Youth.
Teacher Appreciation week. Ernest Christopher won “Teacher of NORTHSIDE –Homecoming Oct. 11-09. Going to install
the Year” award. Church outing to Legends game was Aug. 29. a new furnace. Put new windows in the basement.
We are collecting Eliza Broadus offering this month. Fall Festival PANOLA –Got our new hymnals. Learning new songs.
Sept 26 at Graham Family Farm. Tuesday night in town will be Church trip to Natural Bridge. Homecoming Sept 27, with
Sept. 29 at Don Senor’s Restaurant. We will host Pastors/ Wives Bro. Gilbert Wilder.

Sharing Christ Across Kentucky

“Find It Here” is a very special evangelism campaign to deliver the Gospel to 1.5 million households
across Ky. during March 6 thru 21, 2010. Isn’t that wonderful– inviting 1.5 million households to
attend our Churches on Easter Sunday next year. Be much in Prayer for each other in this Ministry.
Thirty-four of our 37 Churches are planning to receive a Salvation Brochure and a bag at a cost of
ten cents each to hang on doors next March. Churches, you are asked to Prayer Walk or Prayer
Drive your Church field this fall in preparation for this event.
