Chapter One We are Flunking the Two of the Three Rs Have you noticed? Were experiencing extreme disasters: 500year hurricanes; huge month-long forest fires; ghastly shootings from terrorists and devastating floods of Biblical proportions. Speaking into TV cameras the first knee-jerk response of local and national leaders is: We will rebuild. Its as if the only actions required are rescue or rebuild. That comment plays well to locals and to voters but it misses Gods signals. Theres a Living God Who is Sovereign over all and Who speaks to us, even using disasters, to get us to return to Him. Yes, rescue and/or rebuild (if necessary) are both part of the process. But Hes seeking to have us rescue (show Mercy), but then we need to reflect on His message, and follow up with repentance, and only then, with His Wisdom and His healing, look for restoration. In fact, God HIMSELF will restore us: Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes, says the LORD of hosts. ~Malachi 3:11 Our ancestors in this nation understood this spiritual principle. When the Pilgrims faced a severe drought, they set aside a day of prayer, fasting and repentance. At the end of that day the rains came, blessing their crops. And in the dire stages of the Revolutionary War and Civil War national leaders set aside days of prayer, fasting and repentance. In confirmation of Scripture, (2 Chronicles 7: 13-15), repentance by those believing in the Living God then triggered Gods supernatural miracles, blessing this nation.

Current leaders either dont know our history or dont know the Bible or are hiding under political correctness, afraid to offend voters by proposing a Biblical solution. Story after story in the Bible recounts Gods use of disasters to attempt to awaken His People to reflect on their standing with Him, to repent of their ways, to return to His Divine Protection. When in our human arrogance we vow to rebuild out of our own strength, it mocks God and spells disaster. Rabbi Jonathan Cahns best-selling book, The Harbinger, clearly shows how repentance now is the only way to avoid the same disaster ancient Israel experienced when they vowed to rebuild out of their own strength instead of repenting and returning to their Lord. But The Harbinger message is not reaching key leaders. For example, recently disaster again struck New Jersey, burning down the FunTown boardwalk. Clearly it was a sign of the Lords displeasure: only weeks earlier, instead of following Gods Word and encouraging persons to come out of and reject the same sex lifestyle, New Jersey politicians passed a law prohibiting a parent from seeking professional counsel for any child confused about their gender. When sin is called righteousness and darkness is called light then the righteous will be called evil. Light will be called darkness. Those standing up for Biblical principles will be adjudged as harmful to society and persecuted. Persecution of Christians will seem to be the right thing to do. This was also the conclusion of Justice Kennedy in the recent Defense of Marriage decision. He declared that the drawing of distinctions between traditional marriage and gay unions is to demean, humiliate and injure gays. Bible-believing Christians are now defined as those harming society!

FunTown is now in ruins on the New Jersey Boardwalk. Yes, we need to help businesses rebuild. But individually and as a nation will we stop to reflect upon what the Creator named in the Declaration of Independence is saying to us? Having reflected, having sought the spiritual meaning of the disaster, will we sincerely repent for our apathy? ...For our apostasy for not standing up for Biblical Truths? ...For fearing what others will say instead of fearing Him? So, like Reading, Riting and Rithmaticwe need to get back to the basic fundamentals. Were missing two of the three spiritual Rs. Instead of rushing from rescue or rebuild, its time to add the critical elements of reflection and repentance, personally and nationally. If we fail to do that, the beacon of Light and Liberty that once was the United States of America, now dramatically dimming as we watch with alarm, will be rightfully extinguished by the One Who is always sovereign. That Living God is the One Who first placed that Light and Liberty beacon in our midst. It was His Divine gift for us to cherish and pass on. Only sincere repentance will cause Him to relight it. ************ Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes. And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said: O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.all this disaster has come upon us; yet we have not made our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. ~ Daniel 9: 3-5, 13

PRAYER Dear Heavenly Father, Most High and Holy GodWere good at Rescue and Rebuild but, unlike our ancestors, weve omitted reflection and repentance before rebuild. Lord, it is clear that we are living in turbulent times and if we do not stick to what You have said to us directly, we will be like the waves of the sea, tossed back and forth to drown in doubt and fear. We cannot expect anything from You then, except painful discipline. You have repeatedly told us (through Your prophets) that Your judgment on our nation has started, and in these first stages it is disciplining Your Church that we repent and return to You and Your Word; to Your purpose, principles and promises. Father, we cannot say that You havent been fair or patient; for You have been, more than we deserve.

Chapter Two Maintaining the Status Quo is Never Quite Possible Are we Gaining or Losing Ground? With U.S. Secretary of State Kerry rushing back and forth between Israel and the Palestinians, we sometimes lose sight of the obvious. Even if it were not a complete Biblical abomination for the U.S. to be pushing the sovereign nation of Israel into giving up segments of their God-ordained homelandit makes absolutely no sense in the common sense realm either. The Land Mass of Israel only comprises ONE PERCENT of the Middle East! Israel is surrounded on ALL sides by hostile Arab neighbors. The Jewish people have faced horrific persecution in other countries where they have historically attempted to peaceably reside. WHY do they have to give up anything in order to maintain their right to exist in their own small nation, a nation no bigger than the State of New Jersey? The extremists stated goals wont even affirm their right to exist. The whole process is patently absurd. I think this is also fertile ground (pardon the pun) for a metaphor of our American Christian lives as well. How much territory does God occupy in our lives? Is He apparent in all aspects of our daily walk? Does He enter into our marital relationships, our geopolitical alliances, and our work-place? Does He factor into our entertainment, our political votes, and our social positions? Do we compromise our values and beliefs for a false sense of peace with family, co-workers and fellow citizens? Interestingly, there is not a static position in scienceeverything is constantly in motion even if we cant always see it with the natural eye:

In science there are two related concepts in our ever-changing galaxies: 1) Black Holes: A black hole is a region of space from which gravity prevents anything, including light, from escaping. It is a former star eventually imploding and creating bleak darkness. 2) Star Formation: Brilliant and powerful stars (of which our sun is a nearby example) are created by the collision of two galaxies. Under such duress they become potent sources of energy and great light. Both of these galactic wonders are created by pull or pressure of gravity--One towards indescribable blackness and the other to inexpressible light. Let me suggest that if we are not moving forward with God, lets not delude ourselves and think we are holding our ground. Like black holes and stars, a country is either imploding or exploding even if, at the moment, we cant see it happening. In the spiritual world, we are either giving the Devil a foothold or we are putting a foot on his backside. So, lets stop compromising in the hopes of a false peace. Like Israel, Christian Americans need to RETAKE THE LAND that God Promised us.

Chapter 3 We are about to Breach the Wall There is a day on the Hebrew Calendar known as The 9th of Av. It is the darkest day in Jewish history. On this SAME DATE in history, the Jewish Temple was destroyed twice: First in 586 BC and again in 70 AD RememberHistory Repeats itself. In 2013, the 9th of Av fell on July 16th. Like Israel, the United States is a bridal nation.--A nation who willingly placed herself under the Covenant of God Almighty. This covenant is written like a contractIF you do this: (obedience)you will receive this: (blessings). IF you do this: (disobedience)you will receive this: (curses/sudden catastrophes). We clearly know what obedience looks like. God laid this out for us in his Word a summation of which is the 10 commandments. Of course, all of these sins are committed on a daily basis by individuals. But the danger to a nations existence arises when these sins are broken in their entirety by a government. Heres how the United States has broken the Covenant and why America is on the precipice of a sudden catastrophe; a devastating National Disaster. There are three national sins that have always preceded judgment in Ancient Israel. They are: 1) DESCECRATION of the altar. 2) REMOVAL of God worship from the Temple. 3) REPLACEMENT of God with an idol.

In ancient times, these three sins manifested differently than in modern times. The altar was desecrated by Israelites tossing their newborn infants into the fire as a sacrifice to the demon God Molech. They removed the traditional worship of God through the use of Temple female prostitutes and sexual abominations performed by male priests in the Temple. Then, they replaced God by physically creating a graven image of the god du jour such as Baal, Ashteroth and Molech. Heres what few people knowPRIOR to the 9th of AV (three weeks prior to be exact) there is another date that very few Americans have ever heard of. It is called the Fast of Tammuz. In 2013, this date was June 25th. On this date in history: 1) Moses broke the two tablets of stone in anger on Mount Sinai after he found the children of Israel worshipping the Golden Calf. 2) The daily olat tamid offering (Temple rituals) ceased to be brought 3) The walls of Jerusalem were breached prior to final destruction 4) The Torah was burned 5) An idol was erected in the Temple Amazingly, The United States of America is on this exact same pathway We have fully accomplished DESECRATION of the altar through our wicked abortion laws. We are symbolically tossing our infants into the fire. When you think that these precious infants may ultimately end up in trash incinerators, maybe we are literally tossing them into the fire as well. Currently, America has the dubious distinction of still legally allowing abortions well past any acceptable definition of viability. We are also encouraging and importing abortions throughout the entire world by our targeted

funding. After the horrific Gosnell trial, no one in America can claim, similar to the protesting German public during WWII, we just didnt know. We have seen the smokestacks and the body parts that clogged the sewer drains. We have seen the little feet cut off and put in jars as a display trophy. Just like the Nazis, America is complicit in removing the body parts of precious human beings in a diabolical display of evil. The question is: What have we done about it? The answer: very little has changed since Gosnell. Recently an Arizona court case AFFIRMED that we have the right to kill babies after their 20th week of gestation. It STRUCK DOWN a fetal pain law as unconstitutional. In another disturbing case, the Supreme Court recently upheld an Indiana ruling that the state could not block Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood. This means our tax dollars will continue to fund this hideous practice. All of us, in essence, have innocent blood on our hands. In another disturbing development, the Supreme Court REFUSED to question the Constitutionality of a case from Colorado that banned the use of graphic fetus photos in protest. See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil. So, while there has been a huge public outcryAMERICA, as a government or nation, has openly RE-AFFIRMED abortion since the outrages of Gosnell. Even if we dont personally agree with these court caseswe are captive passengers on the Titanic and she has hit the iceberg. Im sure there were many Christian German citizens that didnt like what was happening to the Jews in Germany during WWII. However, because of their silence, apathy and apostasy, this DID NOT prevent the country from being pounded into rubble by the wrath of Almighty God for the sin of genocide. January 22nd, 2013 marked the 40-year anniversary of the Roe v. Wade abomination in the United States. We have seen our highest elected official sanction this procedure and even, astonishingly, say God Bless Planned Parenthoodasking God to

bless EVIL. God MUST and WILL answer this challenge to His Authority. If He were to do nothingthe silence would be tantamount to His AGREEMENT or implicit blessing of this statement. We are well aware of Americas historic REMOVAL of GOD from the Temple. This occurred on another June 25th back in 1962. Remember: in 2013 June 25th was also the 17th of Tammuz on the Hebrew calendar. It was also the 51st anniversary of the REMOVAL OF GOD from American Public Schools. The #51 signifies either serious epic judgment OR repentance in the Bible. The 51st Psalm is the repentance prayer by David after he committed adultery with Bathsheba. Jubilees years occur every 50 years in the Bible. Jubilees signify setting the captives free. After the 51st year there will be a cosmic do-over when everything gets leveled and God renews a fresh start. Almighty God will set the captives free one way or anotherwith our willing approval or without. America has two choices: Repent or face destruction. Repent or face serious judgment. Lastly, and very eerily, we recently had a very public example of physically REPLACING God with an idol on our American soil. In ancient times, the Israelites installed a graven image or monument in honor of a false god. Frighteningly, the United States of America has done this VERY SAME THING on June 29th, 2013 in the State of Florida. On June 29th, an Atheist group has been permitted to install a 1500 pound granite monument on the grounds of a courthouse in Tallahassee, Florida. This group originally sued the Bradford County to remove the 10 commandments. When they lost that case, they demanded that their atheist monument also be placed next to the 10 commandments. In a shocking first for America, the county agreed to allow this. This was the VERY

FIRST TIME in American history that such a godless monument has ever been installed on PUBLIC GOVERNMENT property! Make no mistakethis is an historic event in the spiritual world. America is thumbing her nose in the face of Almighty God. Do we seriously believe God will continue to bless the United States when our nation openly commits such confrontational acts against God Almighty? Its as if we are saying: I DARE You to do something about this. Or We WANT to publicly embarrass You. Make no mistakeGod will not be mocked. Whatever a man reaps, that shall he also sow. Incredibly the name Tallahassee is an Apalachee Indian word meaning abandoned fields. If we want to make a public statement that we have NO GODthen God will allow us to see what America looks like without Him. Dear God help usit will not be pretty. So look at this list once again regarding the 17th of Tammuz in history: 1) Moses broke the two tablets of stone on Mount Sinai The U.S. is breaking up the laws of our Judeo-Christian heritage rock solid foundation. 2) The daily olat tamid offering has ceased to be brought We have removed the daily offering of prayer from our schools 3) The walls of Jerusalem were breached The abundance of natural disasters (tornados, wildfires, storms) is physical evidence that our walls have been breached. The protective hedge of the Holy Spirit has been removed AT OUR INSISTENCE.

4) The Torah was burned No more Bible reading in our schools. burned the Torah. 5) An idol was erected in the Temple Andwith EERY timing, the Atheist monument has been erected for the FIRST TIME EVER on government soil. The timing of this should make our hair stand on end. If the Supreme Court permits gay marriage soonwe will have committed the final and ultimate abomination. Man on Man and Woman on Woman marriage is the equivalent of WORSHIPPING OURSELVES. At that point, we will have an official government monument AND a Supreme Court lawWORSHIPPING OURSELVES or total GOD REPLACEMENTthe final step in the apostasy process. So what happens next??? With the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit removed (at our official request)I predict all HELL will break loose in America. Expect ramped up natural disasters, more terrorist attacks and quite possibly the beginning of World War III. We must REPENT and REPENT NOW! Therefore be zealous and repent ~Rev 3:19 "A patriot without religion in my estimation is as great a paradox as an honest Man without the fear of God. Is it possible that he whom no moral obligations bind, can have any real Good Will towards Men? Can he be a patriot who, by an openly vicious Weve symbolically

conduct, is undermining the very bonds of Society?...The Scriptures tell us "righteousness exalteth a Nation." ~Abigail Adams I apprehend no danger to our country from a foreign foe... Chapter 4 Come Out, Come Out Wherever You Are Olly, Olly, Oxen Free! ~Childhood game catchphrase Remember those carefree days of innocent childhood? Nobody questioned the seemingly nonsensical rules for Kick the Can or Hide and Seek. We just simply accepted that you had to abide by certain precepts and repeat specific sayings in order to properly play the game. When someone chanted Olly, Olly, OxenFree! you knew it was safe to come out into the open without getting tagged. If you failed to follow the rules you were called OUT! In religious terms, the word ecstasy has an interesting meaning. EK, in Greek means: to come out from, being called out. Stasy has the root of Stasis meaning, standing, stopping, remaining status quo. It is where we get words like homeostasis (maintaining equilibrium, standing still) or static (showing little or no change). So, if we put these two Greek root meanings together we get a meaning like: COME OUT FROM YOUR APATHY When Jesus was preaching his amazing revelations and insights, his family came to lay hands on him or take a hold of him because they said he was out of his mind. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, "He is out of his mind." ~Mark 3:21 The Greek word here for out of his mind is eks-'-st-m.

Like Jesus, if you are experiencing a true revelation from God you are literally out of your mind! You become in the mind of God, not your own. The Catholic Church refers to the passionate state of believers experiencing a vision as having a religious ecstasy. So, similar to the childhood gameEcstatic Christians need to start calling out people from their static unchanging positions. Come out from the unchanging, lukewarm-ness of your compromised lifestyle! Take a standshow yourself. For the apathetic Church, this means it is high time to make a public break from the apostasy. Interestingly, the gay movement uses terminology of coming out. It is no coincidence, that at the same time, Christians are being required to get in the closet and shut up. We are being marginalized and shamed with the new human secularist makebelieve sins of homophobia and intolerance. Apparently, Human Secularism has turned out to be an alternate new religion after all with its own set of transgressions and commandments. Who knew? In a recent interoffice memo at the Department of Justice, employees were informed that they are required to AFFIRM homosexuality. Neutrality is no longer an option. Come out, Come out says the government! How is this possible for sincere Christians? In the Military, the commandments have flipped over to DO ASK and DO TELL if you are gay. However, if you are a committed Christian, DONT ASK and DONT TELL! Oppose this decree and you risk being court-martialed. Does anyone besides me find this ironic?

Innkeepers, Photographers, Bakers and Candlestick-makers are being sued all across the country for refusing to compromise their religious beliefs. One by one they are being called out. If they complythey may get a temporary olly, olly oxen-free pass from the government. However, it may not be truly safe. Playing it safe orgoing along to get along may buy you some friends and time in the natural realm, but in the spiritual realm you will be dealt with harshly. Plainly and simply: If you deny ChristHe will deny you. Jesus/Yeshua said: But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. ~Matthew 10:33 10=Mans Government/Testimony 33=Promise Its as if Jesus is saying: Deny me in front of your government with your testimony, and I promise you, I will deny you before my Father in Heaven. Interestingly, just a few verses prior to this one Jesus said: Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. ~Matthew 10:28 In Revelation, God tells His ChurchCome out from her (Mother of Abominations/Whore of Babylon) lest ye share in her punishment. Then I heard another voice calling from heaven, "Come out of her, my people. Do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her. ~Revelation 18:4

We need to take this warning to heart. As supporters of our JudeoChristian beliefs, we need to make a public stand against sin and apostasy. We need to call out government and church leaders that have gone astray. We cant just continue to be silent or wishywashy about our convictions hoping we will maintain the homeostasis of our lifestyle. Soon, the harsher door knocks will begin and the Nazi Gestapo will be at your front door. Next week it may be your profession or religious beliefs that are under fire. Comply or die. The authorities will begin to DEMAND that all those hiding need to COME OUT. You will NOT escape by trying to stay hiddenyou will be found. The question is by whom? Will the government find you cowering in your workplace first or will it be Jesus/Yeshua that finds you hiding behind a bush? Id rather that when Jesus calls olly, olly oxen-free He finds me out in the open so Im not tagged out. Ready or not Here He comes Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? ~Isaiah 29:15 Come out, come out, thou bloody man ~2 Samuel 16:7

PRAYER: O Lord, according to your Word, we enter your courts with Thanksgiving and Praise. Most High God, Master and Creator of the Universe, we humbly bow before you and worship you with all of our heart, soul and mind. Like Jesus instructed us, we start this prayer out with Thanksgivingdeeply grateful and thankful that you DO, indeed, hear the prayers of your children. We reverence You with awe and wonderment as we try to fully grasp this fact. What is man that you are mindful of him? We are but fallible lumps of clay and yet we are invited into the most Holy of Holies to commune with you. Like Esther, we are welcomed in even when un-summoned by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We are free to enter your chambers like favored children to a Father. This is almost too wondrous to take hold of. When we get a complete divine revelation on this promise, then we will truly understand this scripture: The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. ~James 5:16 We acknowledge the incredible right and privilege you have given us to walk directly into the Presence of the most Powerful and Effective force in the Universe and BOLDLY ask for assistance. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. ~Hebrews 4:16 We pray for courage to COME OUT from the apostasy all around us. We rely on your Divine assistance and protection during these globally tumultuous times. Help us to be fully ready for Your return and not to be caught unaware like a wicked servant. We pray this prayer with great expectancy, looking upwards for our ultimate Salvation when you will return to set things right forever and ever. Amen.

Chapter 5 Conclusion REVIVING OUR ROOTS THROUGH REPENTANCE The National Day of Repentance is a day set aside for prayer, fasting and repentance that blesses the believer in Christ (2 Corinthians 7: 1)Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. But its also is a spiritual weapon--- a political strategy---- to invoke Gods Hand to do battle against enemies. (2 Chronicles 20:1-24). Even before this nation was founded, when the British blockaded Boston harbor with their gunships, threatening to invade the city, members of the House of Burgesses in Virginia, including Thomas Jefferson, proclaimed a day of prayer, fasting and humiliation in support of the colonists in Boston. George Washington joined in that spiritual battle that day, noting in his diary: prayed and fasted all day. God moved; Boston was spared invasion. The Lords Providence continued to final victory as colonists continued to use His spiritual weapons. In 1777, when it appeared that the far superior British forces would defeat the Americans, John Adams said to Dr. Benjamin Rush: We will defeat the enemy if we fear God and repent of our sins. In the midst of the Civil War President Lincoln in response to Congress set aside April 30, 1863 as a day of national humiliation, fasting and prayer. Within months key battles brought the horrid carnage to a close, and Lincoln called upon the Lord to heal the nations wounds.

The National Day of Repentance is a non-denominational Christian ministry formed by several pastors in 2011 drawn by the Holy Spirit to repentance. Throughout the year, following the admonition of scripture and our American Christian Heritage, we call for days of repentance in our homes, churches and globally. The National Day of Repentance has also gone global with many nations joining us as we begin the purification process as the Bride of Christ, to advance His Kingdom. We now have over a thousand committed prayer intercessors in 30 nations joining us on days of repentance. This April 30 we will again hold a National Day of Repentance focusing on the United States. The following day, May 1, will also be the annual National Day of Prayer. We are also urging pastors to hold a repentance service on Sunday, May 4. In addition, on May 7, in the US Capitol where church services used to be held, a special service will be held entitled: Washington-A Man of Prayer. We are calling the entire week Reviving Our Roots Through Repentance. We believe the Lords timing is key this year; that the nations destiny depends on Him and His people turning back to Him. Never before has the spiritual battle for this nation been so intense. Using the spiritual weapons used by our nations founders, individual and national repentance is clearly essential. The Lords promise still stands. He will hear from heaven, He will forgive our sins and He will heal our land IF His people, called by His name, will humble themselves and pray and seek His face and turn----REPENT--- from their wicked ways. (2 Chronicles 7:14) Each of you pastors and community leaders can play a key role in teaching and preaching to your sphere of influence about the privilege and power of repentance--in a persons life and in a nations destiny. We need to form a COALITION of committed Christians that all have the same goal in mind: fighting the good fight in this country for National Repentance. This is the ONLY ANSWER to all of the problems we are facing. We need to hold our elected officials accountable. The Old Testament prophets boldly addressed kings directly and forthrightly told them: "Your apostate nonsense and your weak spiritual focus is basically destroying our kingdom---God says: KNOCK IT OFF or ELSE!" We need to PARTICULARLY say this to those public officials who claim to be coming from a Christian perspective. Somehow, there is a sense that these people enjoy an elevated "hands off" mentality from the Christian community instead of holding their feet to the fire. We need to warn believers AND unbelievers of the consequences of their sins both individually and nationally. We need to warn of the high potential that apathy will lead us into bondage (physical chains and loss of God-given rights) from wicked government. Look no further than the HHS mandate which FORCES us to participate in murder. We need to forget about political correctness in our conversations and instead be concerned with scriptural correctness. We need to 100% toss out "fear of man" and exponentially increase our Fear of God amongst believers. We need to utilize every freedom and right that we still enjoy to get the word out. Silence in the face of evil is evil itself. It is also important for us to have an easy to remember checklist for recognizing the symptoms of Apostasy in the Church and in the nation. Today I am going to give you a practical list of warning

signs that can be found in the Bible as indicators of Apostasy. Remember, Jesus Christ warns us that in the last daysthere would be a Great Apostasy. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first ~2 Thessalonians 2:3 In these final days, many, many people who call themselves Christians will be pushing for an agenda that is contrary to Gods Word. Even worsethey will be identifying this agenda as a good thing. Jesus said: Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? ~Luke 6:46

The Four Apostasies in the Bible that felled both individual men and mighty empires is the same today as it was in ancient times: 1) Slaughter of Innocents: In Ancient times, this was evidenced by people sacrificing their children to the gods. Today, ABORTION is the new slaughter of innocents and those who push this agenda in any way are advocating for an abomination that stinks in the nostrils of God: Shall I leave their innocent blood unavenged? No, I will not." ~Joel 3:21 The recent legislation in Belgium approving the Euthanasia of children is a prime example of this apostasy. 2) Sanctification of Perversions within the Temple: Now you might be wonderinghow in the world do we commit this sin in modern times? Very simply, GAY MARRIAGE is sanctification of a perversion. While it is one matter to have Christian love and compassion for those caught up in this sin, it is an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT situation to put the stamp of approval on this sin from our government and especially within our churches. Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life. Outside the city are the dogsthe sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie. ~Revelation 22:14-15

3) Replacement of God with Idols: Now surely, you are thinking at this point, this one is an archaic pagan practice than no longer has any relevant application to our societies today. THINK AGAIN. When we elevate mans reasoning over Gods wisdom, we are, in effect, replacing God with an idolourselves. Today, we are attempting to replace God with the idol of Human Secularism of Human Reasoningin effect, joining forces with the recent ATHEISM movement (weirdly, mentioned by Pope Francis in his Christmas Day message as a possible ALLY for Christians in obtaining World Peace). Thus you see the frenzied attack by Atheists to remove all mention of God, crosses and Christian religious references from our society. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? ~2 Corinthians 6:14 4) Opposition and Hatred of Israel: As true believers we must NEVER oppose the Throne of David. God granted certain lands to the Jews in His never-changing, rock-solid Word. As true Christians, we must NEVER take a position that is Anti-God ergo Anti-Christ. The spirit of Antichrist is one in OPPOSITION to what God says. While this does not mean the government of the State of Israel is perfect or without errorwe MUST NOT SUPPORT any government or religious leader that seeks to divide Israels lands. PERIODno further discussion amongst serious Christians is necessary. Also, any support of Israeli boycotts or calling Israel an apartheid state are simply not acceptable practices for serious Christians.

See, I have given you this land. Repentance has been misunderstood and hidden from many believers who dont realize its a powerful tool for purity, a great privilege the Lord invites us to take up as a daily spiritual discipline. Joy and freedom follow repentance, not punishment. We cant have a revival without repentance. All of the political strategies coming out of this conference will be of no value if a lukewarm body of Christ stays lukewarm. (Revelation 3:14-22). The Risen Christ says today to each of us: As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. (Revelation 3:19). Lets start an avalanche of repentance beginning with ourselves. Presidential Proclamations for a National Day of Repentance Washingtons Inaugural Address of 1789 A Transcription Fellow Citizens of the Senate and the House of Representatives. Among the vicissitudes incident to life, no event could have filled me with greater anxieties than that of which the notification was transmitted by your order, and received on the fourteenth day of the present month. On the one hand, I was summoned by my Country, whose voice I can never hear but with veneration and love, from a retreat which I had chosen with the fondest predilection, and, in my flattering hopes, with an immutable decision, as the asylum of my declining years: a retreat which was rendered every day more necessary as well as more dear to me, by the addition of habit to inclination, and of frequent interruptions in my health to the gradual waste committed on it by time. On the other hand, the magnitude and difficulty of the trust to which the voice of my Country called me, being sufficient to awaken in the wisest and most experienced of her citizens, a distrustful scrutiny into his qualifications, could not but overwhelm with despondence, one, who, inheriting inferior endowments from nature and unpracticed in the duties of civil administration, ought to be peculiarly conscious of his own deficiencies. In this conflict of emotions, all I dare aver, is, that it has been my faithful study to collect my duty from a just appreciation of every circumstance, by which it might be affected. All I dare hope, is, that, if in executing this task I have been too much swayed by a grateful remembrance of former instances, or by an affectionate sensibility to this transcendent proof, of the confidence of my fellow-citizens; and have thence too little consulted my incapacity as well as disinclination for the weighty and untried cares before me; my error will be palliated by the motives which misled me, and its consequences be judged by my Country, with some share of the partiality in which they originated.

By the article establishing the Executive Department, it is made the duty of the President "to recommend to your consideration, such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient." The circumstances under which I now meet you, will acquit me from entering into that subject, farther than to refer to the Great

Constitutional Charter under which you are assembled; and which, in defining your powers, designates the objects to which your attention is to be given. It will be more consistent with those circumstances, and far more congenial with the feelings which actuate me, to substitute, in place of a recommendation of particular measures, the tribute that is due to the talents, the rectitude, and the patriotism which adorn the characters selected to devise and adopt them. In these honorable qualifications, I behold the surest pledges, that as on one side, no local prejudices, or attachments; no separate views, nor party animosities, will misdirect the comprehensive and equal eye which ought to watch over this great assemblage of communities and interests: so, on another, that the foundations of our National policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality; and the preeminence of a free Government, be exemplified by all the attributes which can win the affections of its Citizens, and command the respect of the world. I dwell on this prospect with every satisfaction which an ardent love for my Country can inspire: since there is no truth more thoroughly established, than that there exists in the economy and course of nature, an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness, between duty and advantage, between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy, and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity: Since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven, can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained: And since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the Republican model of Government, are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally staked, on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people. Besides the ordinary objects submitted to your care, it will remain with your judgment to decide, how far an exercise of the occasional power delegated by the Fifth article of the Constitution is rendered expedient at the present juncture by the nature of objections which

have been urged against the System, or by the degree of inquietude which has given birth to them. Instead of undertaking particular recommendations on this subject, in which I could be guided by no lights derived from official opportunities, I shall again give way to my entire confidence in your discernment and pursuit of the public good: For I assure myself that whilst you carefully avoid every alteration which might endanger the benefits of an United and effective Government, or which ought to await the future lessons of experience; a reverence for the characteristic rights of freemen, and a regard for the public harmony, will sufficiently influence your deliberations on the question how far the former can be more impregnably fortified, or the latter be safely and advantageously promoted. To the preceding observations I have one to add, which will be most properly addressed to the House of Representatives. It concerns myself, and will therefore be as brief as possible. When I was first honored with a call into the Service of my Country, then on the eve of an arduous struggle for its liberties, the light in which I contemplated my duty required that I should renounce every pecuniary compensation. From this resolution I have in no instance departed. And being still under the impressions which produced it, I must decline as inapplicable to myself, any share in the personal emoluments, which may be indispensably included in a permanent provision for the Executive Department; and must accordingly pray that the pecuniary estimates for the Station in which I am placed, may, during my continuance in it, be limited to such actual expenditures as the public good may be thought to require. [April 30, 1789] Having thus imported to you my sentiments, as they have been awakened by the occasion which brings us together, I shall take my present leave; but not without resorting once more to the benign parent of the human race, in humble supplication that since he has been pleased to favour the American people, with opportunities

President Abraham Lincoln's Proclamation A Day of National Humiliation, Fasting, and Prayer in The United States Of America on April 30, 1863 WHEREAS, the senate of the United States, devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and Just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations, has by a resolution, required the President to designate and set apart a day for National prayer and humiliation: And whereas, it is the duty of nations as well as of men, to owe their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord: And, in so much as we know that, by His divine law, nations, like individuals, are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land, may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole People? We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us, then to humble ourselves before the

offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness. Now, therefore, in compliance with the request, and fully concurring in the views of the Senate, I do, by this proclamation, designate and set apart Thursday, the 30th day of April, 1863, as a day of national humiliation, fasting, and prayer. And I do hereby request all the People to abstain on that day from their ordinary secular pursuits, and to unite, at their several places of public worship and their respective homes, in keeping the day holy to the Lord, and devoted to the humble discharge of the religious duties proper to that solemn occasion. All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the Nation will be heard on high, and answered with blessings, no less than the pardon of our national sins, and the restoration of our now divided and suffering country, to its former happy condition of unity and peace. A Proclamation by John Adams As the safety and prosperity of nations ultimately and essentially depend on the protection and the blessing of Almighty God, and the national acknowledgment of this truth is not only an indispensable duty which the people owe to Him, but a duty whose natural influence is favorable to the promotion of that morality and piety without which social happiness cannot exist nor the blessings of a free government be enjoyed; and as this duty, at all times incumbent, is so especially in seasons of difficulty or of danger, when existing or threatening calamities, the just judgments of God against prevalent iniquity, are a loud call to repentance and reformation; and as the United States of America are at present placed in a hazardous and afflictive situation by the unfriendly disposition, conduct, and demands of a foreign power, evinced by repeated refusals to receive our messengers of reconciliation and peace, by depredation on our commerce, and the infliction of injuries on very many of our fellow-citizens while engaged in their lawful business on the seas--under these considerations it has appeared to me that the duty of imploring the mercy and benediction of Heaven on our country demands at this time a special attention from its inhabitants. I have therefore thought fit to recommend, and I do hereby recommend, that Wednesday, the 9th day of May next, be observed throughout the United States as a day of solemn humiliation, fasting, and prayer; that the citizens of these States, abstaining on that day from their customary worldly occupations, offer their devout addresses to the Father of Mercies agreeably to those forms or methods which they have severally adopted as the most suitable and becoming; that all religious congregations do, with the deepest humility, acknowledge before God the manifold sins and transgressions with which we are justly chargeable as individuals and as a nation, beseeching Him at the same time, of His infinite grace, through the Redeemer of the World, freely to remit all our offenses, and to incline us by His Holy Spirit to that sincere repentance and reformation which may afford us reason to

ProclamationDay of Humiliation and Prayer 1812 by James Madison Resolution requesting the President of the United States to recommend a day of public humiliation and prayer. It being a duty peculiarly incumbent in a time of public calamity and war, humbly and devoutly to acknowledge our dependence on Almighty God, and to implore his aid and protection: Therefore, Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That a joint committee of both Houses wait on the President of the United States, and request that he recommend a day of public humiliation and prayer to be observed by the people of the United States, with religious solemnity, and the offering of fervent supplications to the Almighty God for the safety and welfare of these States, His blessing on their arms, and the speedy restoration of peace.

************ In the summer of 1814, the British sent warships into Chesapeake Bay to attack Washington D.C. 4500 British soldiers were deposited on our shores and headed towards the Capitol. Their mission was to capture Washington and retaliate for the burning of the British Capitol in Canada which they felt the United States was responsible for. 7000 Americans joined forces to defend Washington along the shores of the Potomac. On August 24th, in the heat of the blazing summer, the two forces battled. The British initially prevailed and President Madison and Secretary of State Monroe were almost captured in the battle. As August 25th dawned on Washington D.C., much of the city was still smoldering from the intentionally lit fires. The British soldiers continued to unleash their mayhem throughout the city. However, God Almighty intervened. A severe freak thunderstorm bore down

on the city bringing with it a tornado. Witnesses say the skies darkened and it struck the city with an unearthly thundering roar. The force of the winds were so severe that roofs flew off, feather beds were sucked out of homes and the British cannons were literally thrown up into the air. Several British soldiers were killed by flying debris. Driving torrential rains pounded the city effectively dousing the intentionally set flames caused by the British vandalism attempts. Historic accounts state that Admiral Cockburn was so aggrieved by the weather that he exclaimed to one lady: Great God, Madam! Is this the kind of storm to which you are accustomed in this infernal country? The lady aptly answered: No Sir, this is a special interposition of Providence to drive our enemies from our city. British history records this fact: More British soldiers were killed by this stroke of nature than from all the firearms the American troops had mustered in the feeble defense of their city. It was less than three months later that Madison proclaimed yet another National Day of Public Humiliation (Repentance), Fasting and Prayer. This strategy is well embedded in our American History. Like the Israelites would gather each year on Passover to remember Gods Divine Deliverance, so should Americans remind themselves of Gods Sovereign intervention in our nation. We would do well to follow in the footsteps of our Founding Fathers and HUMBLY declare another National Day of Repentance!
