I NTRODUCTION

I
f someone would have approached me several years ago
and said, “You are going to write a book based upon your
conversations with an angel,” I would have looked at them
in total disbelief. In fact, God knows that part of me, a
very tiny part of me, is still in awe that this indeed has happened
and is being presented to you on the following pages. For those
readers who wish to learn about my spiritual growth and experi-
ences, I offer this:
My mother was my first spiritual teacher. She taught about
creation and the value of it. She valued religious study and
encouraged me to fold my hands and pray every night. At age
14, a terrible tragic event unfolded. My mother died. For years,
I could not understand why it happened and why God would
do such a cruel thing. I cursed God repeatedly. After directing
my sorrow toward a variety of negative experiences, I reached
out in prayer.
Near my twenty-first birthday, an amazing thing happened. I
was awakened one night with an event, which I now know as an
"out-of-body" experience. I was awakened by the words of my
mother who told me not to worry for she was in a good and holy

place. She told me that we would meet again one day, but not
for some time. She comforted me with other words of kindness
and I was left with a completely peaceful and loving feeling that
she was always with me.
From this experience I was lead to new paths of questioning.
I started to look outward instead of inward and began have some
unusual new experiences. I began to “hear” thoughts on a regu-
lar basis, though few of my immediate family and friends real-
ized this. Much later, I learned this term was referred to as men-
tal telepathy, though for many years I questioned my sanity. I
studied, I explored, and developed my own belief systems dur-
ing this period. Many of these expanding beliefs discounted the
religious teachings I had received as a child.
Until this point, no one could satisfy my quest for knowledge
about death and everlasting life. So I sought counsel from hyp-
notists, acupuncturists, and therapists to validate my experi-
ences, which were occurring more frequently and involving mes-
sages from other souls who I had known had “died”. Still uncon-
vinced that what was happening to me could really occur, I fur-
thered my study. I read everything I could get my hands on
about reincarnation, energy work, auras, chakras, guardian
angels, the power of crystals and gems, and alternative thought
involving spiritual beliefs. The first influential book was Brian
Weiss' Many Lives, Many Masters which validated some of my
experiences. Then I found the Conversations with God series of
books by Neale Donald Walsh. Eventually, I began to accept and

honor my evolving beliefs, different as they were from the major-

ity of people I knew. As I became more aware, I realized that
many individuals from all over the world were connecting easily
with their guardian angels or had angelic experiences of one kind
or another.
Then a second major life-altering spiritual event unfolded in
my mid-forties. I was awakened at night by an intensely white
light which took over my entire field of vision while my eyes
remained closed. This, according to my beliefs, was the connec-
tion between my ethereal body to that of a divine presence. The
presence identified himself as Michael the Archangel, and that
His purpose in coming was to instruct upon the ways of the uni-
verse. “We are going to write an important book together,” he
said. My logical mind refused to continue this dialogue and
returned to sleep. The next three nights I was awakened in the
same manner. At the end of the fourth night, I reluctantly turned
myself over to faith and answered, “Yes, show me.”
Seven weeks later, I composed this book. I became an open
stream of consciousness every day and received telepathic
thought from the divine guidance of the angel, Michael, exact-
ly as He had promised. I translated His words into printed
form by using an ancient principle or technique called auto-
matic writing. Understandably, as the thoughts flowed through
me I learned many things about history, science, evolution,
religion, social customs, death and dying which I had never
been aware of previously. In fact, every piece of information

was new to my knowledge.

When all the messages had been communicated, as suddenly
as the communication began, it ended. Many of the ideas and
principles told to me are in direct conflict with existing ideolo-
gies and theologies. As you read the following pages, I ask you to
do what was asked of me, “Lay your conscious mind aside, and
accept the knowledge on faith.”
Many of the ideas presented are very profound and beg for
re-reading. Take the time to re-read. Enjoy the parable style of
narration. The words and sentences have a natural flow and
rhythm. Let the statements collect without immediately being
judged as impossible or right or wrong. Then let love fill your
complete being. I am convinced that every soul can open their
inner eyes and ears to the wisdom of the universe. I am grateful
to have been the messenger.
