He framed shots in such a way through which we can see anxiety, fear, and empathy. Coming to his personal life, he was born on 13 August 1889 in London, England. He was a son of William Hitchcock, a greengrocer and poulterer. He loved his mother dearly and always cared for her a lot. Most often he has illustrated his childhood as isolated and sheltered, which is the main reason of his obesity. He was graduated from London County Council School of engineering and navigation. After that he started working as draftsman and advertising designer at Henleys. At Henleys he started to play with his creativity. Initially he used to write very good articles. Personally my favorite article is Fedora which was published in 1921. In this article he gave a strikingly good description of his future wife (whom he had not met yet). Hitchcock was married in 1926 to his assistant Alma Reville. They had only one child. this couple was always true and sincere with each other. Alma became an ideal working collaborator. For almost fifty years she worked with him as an unofficial assistant. Alma never wanted herself to be on paparazzi. She was well experienced film editor and scripter. She always critiqued Hitchcocks work. Alfred lived a great life; he used to travel a lot, watching wrestling matches, visiting art galleries and spending a time at exclusive restaurants. in early times. This was the first movie in which Macguffin was used. Basically it is a plot device around which whole story revolves in which ending has nothing to with the plot. His first American movie was Rebecca. After this movie he put his footsteps permanently in America. Hitchcocks American films have been the subject of sustained critical work for many years whilst the films from his British period which received less attention. He had director the first ever horror movie whose name is Psycho(1961). Many horror movies are influenced by psycho. Anthony Perkins had showed his brilliant performance in this movie. Psycho has been a very influential movie in cinema history as it led to influx of many innovative concepts and subtexts. If you have ever chance of watching making of Psycho you will come to know about the unparallel work carried out by Hitchcock and his devoted team. The Birds was another movie which was another movie made after Psycho. It was based on a Daphne du Maurier story as well as contemporary bird attacks in California. This film is about anxiety, sexual power and the violence of nature. This is the most purest example of Hitchcock style.
