Do you know how important the role of English language in our daily life is? Especillay in this globalization era. Yes, our life is in the globalization age right now. In this era the world is getting thriving, both in terms of technology and language. It cant be avoided that everyone has to participate in this era. Because no one who can stop this era. When the world is more and more thriving so our mindset has to be thrived, too. But we dont think too far to start. Let us just start from the simple way, that is mastering the international language, English, that is quite enough. English Language is one of the ways to hold the world. When people of the whole world use English as an International Language, we will be able to apply the English Language well, and it means we are being a part of the world. In this era, indeed, not only among the peoples of Indonesia are required to communicate and exchange opinions, but those who are from abroad have a role in it, they work together doing in the same project or job. Using English in the social intercourse can be seen with some examples like this one, mostly international schools in Indonesia. The schools have reached a standard quality it means that their existences have been approved by other countries, especially in developed countries. Thats why the International Schools always use English Language as their daily method between teachers and students. Not only the International Schools that teach the entire student how important the use of English Language is. The regular school is also facilitate specific timetable for English lesson. There is four hours in a week for the English Class. Formally, government indeed gives special attention for students through learning process at schools.

Through the media of schools, the implementation of the English language is more and more intensive. Moreover through student exchange program that involves foreign students studying in this country, and Indonesian students would be studying in a foreign country during a specified time. Through the student exchange program, the culture of language feels deeper. The students also want to know more, and make a communication with the foreign students who are sent to their schools. Probably everyone wants to visit abroad, especially those being a part of the student exchange. Through the student exchange is the most affordable one, its free of charge. But in process of being a part of the student exchange is not as simple as we think. One of requirements, that we must be able to speak English. By the students are expected mastering English to build a good friendship and good communication for each other. Besides through schools media, theres also a social media or cyberspace which is literally useful of using English. With the features menu provided are mostly in English, making the user has to recognize the main form of those features before using them. The more types of social media have been made, the more enthusiasm the users utilize it. The use of a social media is usually in the form of a chatting feature. A lot of peoples intentionally or unintentionally make friends with the strangers. Started from it, the user has to be able make a good communication or a better conversation with the foreign friends. Wherever their origin country is, the language which definitely always used is English Language. Trying to make a conversation with the foreign people or the people from another country through social media is another productive way to use English in the social intercourse. Besides a social media, for a chatting feature, sharing a lot of interesting life stories through a blog while using English is a better way in the application of the English Language for social intercourse. The writing advantages using English is not only for the writers, but also all the people around the world would be pleased to read it because that writing is easy to understand if using English. And the other advantage, their knowledge of the English language would increase. become part of the reading material of interest to the community. The international website that has many visitors definitely use English on theirs, presented to readers from around the world are increasingly interested to read, and it inadvertently can develop the English language proficiency of the reader and the writer. The important role of English language used in social intercourse is when traveling. When you're traveling to the outside place of a country then attended by tourist travelers that use a guide to use English. And for a tour guide she/he has to be able to speak at least two International Languages, one of them is English. That is other evidence that English does play an important role in the traveling as well as in the matter. A lot of works require to be proficient in English, in Indonesia and in other countries. In fact there are some traders who sell at one of the locations where tutoring English in Kediri, use the English language to serve buyers. They use English because they want to sell their goods to anyone who is currently studying at such language school. Sometimes in the process of learning and developing a language feels boring and very saturated. Formal English class in school that is devoted to make us well proficient in English is not quite enough. Even many peoples are seeking additional classes in English outside school schedule. Of course it is aimed to be able to speak English. Actually there is one of the most enjoyable ways in the process of learning English; that is by listening to songs. The songs which are often heard western music or music that use English language. The rhythm and songs that use English language at least they make the listener more fluent in English pronunciation. By the growth world of music, many of the singing contests find talents in the field of music. Many contestants sing English songs in the event. When someone sings, it means that people are expressing story of the sing to listeners. In order to be understood by listeners, the singer also has to understand the meaning and the intention the lyrics of the song being sung. Again, to be able to pronounce English properly, the singer has to understand the meaning intention of lyrics in the song. And at least after that they are capable of creating social intercourse use the English language through a melody.

Beside music of the world of entertainment, the thing can be used in English of social intercourse is book. During the globalization era there are more and more various books. Moreover there are many language translation books, especially those are using English language that can be found in Indonesian market. Reading is one of the ways to see the greater insight. Moreover, the best sellers of International books that still use English is very easy to find nowadays. The advantages reading English books are increasing our vocabularies, knowledges, and skills. We will get more and more knowledge as much as possible. In the conclusion, English language is very important for the current era of globalization. Through English language we are able to establish good communication to anyone, especially to the foreign people. Being able to speak English is one of the ways to be a part of the world. Through English language, our mindset will not be left behind by the other developed countries. And no one can deny that the implementation of English language in the social intercourse will continue growing in the world.
