Woodruff Church of God e-Edition Newsletter March 25, 2014

Pastors Notes: I am a man with mixed emotions. I am sad that our scheduled revival meetings are over, but I am HAPPY & GLAD for all the things that happened during the month of March. I am happy and blessed because I know that Revival does not have to end, stop nor slow down. I know that great things are on the horizon!!!!! The momentum generated through special speakers and extra services can continue to build and build. That literally is up to each individual person. If we want to see what has happened over the last two weeks to continue to happen, then we must: 1) continue to pray for it, 2) continue with individual times of fasting, 3) SEPARATE OURSELVES from things and to God, 4) EXPECT it, 5) be prepared for worship when you walk in the door. True revival is a spiritual renewal inside of yourself. Once that renewing, refreshing has taken place, it doesnt matter who is preaching, who is teaching or who is singing..we give God our all out worship & praise and we are steady seeking Him. I am so excited about our worship Wednesday and our services on Sunday. Sunday night, we will be having a baptismal service and we will be mixing testimonies from department heads in among the baptisms and singing. What an awesome time we are going to have. If you have been saved or come back to the Lord after having been away from Him for some time, you need to be baptized. Baptism is not a suggestion, but is a command. Every believer needs to be baptized in water. This baptismal service is going to be awesome! We have some from our Hispanic ministry that will be baptized as well as children and adults from the sanctuary. We also hope there will be some youth baptized as well. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!! I trust that you enjoyed the ministry of Evangelist Rick Lairsey. I have heard many that enjoyed his ministry and are continuing to talk about the messages that he brought. I would love to hear your positive comments concerning what the revival services meant to you. Email me at PastorT@charter,net or you can also use Facebook or Twitter. My twitter account is CurtisDTerry. I love POSITIVE feedback!!!

Please put your food item in a throw away pan or a plastic container. The glass dishes are very heavy for the ladies who carry in the meal. Please, no crock-pots because they are also too heavy and too hot for the ladies who carry in the meal. Also prepare a large portion of food. This also makes it easier on the families we serve. Thank you for all you do as you serve in this ministry. We have a new order of red and green food coloring in the LM office. $3.00 each. Also, a few RADA mini servers have been ordered. Some of us used one in the CLC kitchen a week or so ago and wanted one. These are $5.50.
