PCT No. PCT/GB90/0 1888 Sec. 37 1 Date Jul. 11, 1994 Sec. 102(e) Date Jul. 11, 1994 PCT Filed Oct. 15, 1992 PCT Pub. No. WO93/08594 PCT Pub. Date Apr. 29, 1993. Improved electrolytic deposition of semiconductors is obtained by separating the anode from the cathode by an ion-exchange membrane. The process is useful in the deposition of IIBNIB semiconductors in the fabrication of photovoltaic cells.

between the two elementary cells, said cells then each having its own airs of electrodes leading to separate minals of the component.

5479557 CIRCUIT ARRANGEMENT FOR POWER SUPPLY OF A FAN AND/OR BATTERY BY SOLAR GENERATOR IN A MOTOR VEHICLE Watzlewick Robert Ganz Thomas; Stockdorf, GERMANY assigned to Webasto Karosseriesysteme GmbH Circuit arrangement for supplying power to a fan and/or battery from solar energy generator in a motor vehicle. A DC voltage converter using impedance matching between the solar energy generator and the fan or the battery includes a switch that is alternately opened and closed by a pulse-width-modulated operating signal, and is part of the circuit arrangement. To generate the operating signal, a microprocessor, a frequency generator and a pulse width modulator, which is acted on by the output signal of the frequency generator and a control signal of the microprocessor, are provided. These components also are used as components of an actuating device to displace a movable part of a sun roof, a changeover signal switching between use for charging a battery and/or powering a fan and use operating the sun roof. Thus, the circuit arrangement is able to fulfill multiple functions.

Nuyen Linh T Paris, FRANCE assigned to Picogiga Societe Anonyme PCT No. PCT/FR93/00374 Sec. 371 Date Feb. 14, 1994 Sec. 102(e) Date Feb. 14, 1994 PCT Filed Apr. 15, 1993 PCT Pub. No. WO93/21661 PCT Pub. Date Oct. 28, 1993. Component comprising a stack of at least two associated elementary cells with different spectral response features, characterized in that at least one of the elementary cells is capable of being mechanically deformed. The flexibility of this cell is sufficiently high that it can adhere directly to the other cell simply by van der Waals interaction between the two surfaces opposite the elementary cells. The interface separating the two opposite surfaces can be either sufficiently thin to form a tunnel junction electrically coupling both elementary cells to one another, the opposite layers of the elementary cells then being layers of degenerated semiconductor material p+ and n+, sufficiently high to prevent any coupling
