The HP Company was found by William (Bill) Redington Hewlett and Dave Packard in one car garage in Palo Alto. HP Company has been since the year of 2007 by fending off a challenge by the Chinese manufacturer of Lenovo and is the world's leading PC manufacturer. Personal computing devices, enterprise and industry standard servers is the product line of HP. Audio oscillator was the companys first product that builds in the Palo Alto garage. The first customer of HP Company was Walt Disney Studios which they purchased eight oscillators from the company to develop and test an innovative sound system for the movie of Fantasia. The formed of the HP Corporation was by signing an agreement between professor and Hewlett and Dave Packard at Stanford College. Bill and Dave, they cannot agree that the name of the company should name as Hewlett-Packard or Packard-Hewlett. As the result, they finally decided to choose the worlds largest technology company name by flipping a coin and the name of the company was Hewlett Packard (HP).

Besides, HP Company wants to change the market as an opportunity to grow and earn profit. From the profit and ability, they wish to develop and produce more high quality of products, services, and solutions to fulfill the needs and satisfy of the HPs customer. 1.5 Reason of choosing HP Company In nowadays, the information technology is useful to human in doing their daily job. Besides, information technology is a digital based electronic technology that using the digital processors, communicating and data recording devices for instant recall. The reason that we choose HP Company is because HP Company has the software that can help the businesses or organization. In todays, many company having the problem such as lack software in product standardization and some of their employee accomplish the similar task by using the different product. For example, HP Company helped organization maximize their software investment for more than 30 years by using the software of HP Software Licensing and Management Solutions (SLMS). Besides, HP Company also involved in corporate of social responsibility. To simplify, e-commerce is where the buying and selling of products or services is happened by using electronic systems, for example the Internet and other computer networks. Those forces are rivalry of competitors within the industry, threat of new entrants into the markets, threat of substitute products, bargaining power of customers and also bargaining power of suppliers. To deal with those competitive forces, HP use information system to gain competitive advantage. There are many types of information system help HP in gain competitive advantage. 4.1 E-Commerce To deal with those competitive forces, HP gains a competitive advantage by using information system to create an e-commerce. HP use and improve their e-commerce to connect with their customers, suppliers and also partners. The company use this information system connect to customers, such as, marketing products, sales of products, receive order, delivery and also customer services. In the other hand, they use e-commerce to purchase raw materials and other materials that use in daily operation from suppliers and partners. For example, when a customer drop order, the order will send to warehouse and the preparation process will start.
