WeknowthattheGeneralAssemblyhasgoneintosession,andunderstandlegislationmustbe introducedtoincreasetheprogramsfunding.MRCandHouseofCardshashadawonderful experienceoverthepasttwoseasons,andwewanttoremaininMaryland.Wearereadyto assistinanywaypossibletohelpwiththepassageofthebill.

InthemeantimeIwantedyoutobeawarethatwearerequiredtolookatotherstatesinwhich tofilmontheoffchancethatlegislationdoesnotpassordoesnotcovertheamountoftax creditsforwhichwewouldqualify.Imsureyoucanunderstandthatwewouldnotbe responsiblefinanciersandasuccessfulproductioncompanyifwedidnothaveviableoptions available. Wewantedyoutobeawarethatwhilewehadplannedtobeginfilminginearlyspring,wehave decidedtopushbackthestartdateforfilminguntilJunetoensurethattherehasbeena positiveoutcomeofthelegislation.Intheeventthatsufficientincentivesdonotbecome available,thatgivesustimetobreakdownourstage,setsandofficesandsetupinanother state.
