Dear Sir or Madam, Going through life, I have come to realize that there is an open door for us everywhere

if we work hard and we concentrate our work on what we love to do. We have to realize we have responsibilities and we should not give up when times get rough. But, if we take chances and if we invest ourselves wisely, the pay off might just surprise us. Everyday we experience new challenges and it is in the face of these challenges that I am inspired. Practicing taekwon-do for 4 years did not only teach me to think outside the box, but it also made me a better person. And when I say a better person I mean that I have learnt to help people when they do not have a leg to stand on, not in order to receive something in return but just because in life you have to be fair and honest, not only regarding yourself but also towards others. Practicing this sport helped me reach a state of mind that could not be described in a few words. It made me think positively but also realistic and it changed my perspective on life. I did not only practice it, I lived it. Moreover, volunteering in the local Centre for children with disabilities for 5 months last year enhanced my emotional side. I became the kind of personwho is willing to help someone in need without a moments hesitation. This experience awoke inside me the pleasure of working with people and of sharing my thoughts with them. I improved my teamwork skills and I learnt to focus on what is truly important. I also learnt that each person is special and deserves a chance to prove what he or she can do. I am now open to all kinds of challenges to face. Taking part as a volunteer in the twelfth edition of the Humour Festival Constantin Tanase Vaslui late last year improved my organizational and leadership skills. I had to work closely with my team and I learnt to manage disputes and to diffuse the tension between two persons. These experiences helped me discover what cooperation really means. Being a volunteer made me realize that my entire personal development process dependends on my awareness of my strengths and my weaknesses. These activities made me realize that in life we have to take chances and to fight for what we want. Boundaries do not keep people out, they fence you in. So, we should not waste our lives drawing lines when we could be living crossing them. Finally, we should focus on what really interests us, we should not give up hope and we must do everything in our power to succeed. I believe your programme best fits my personality because I want to set up my own business, to interact with people and to understand them. Studying marketing will help me achieve this goal. However, I do not want just to attend your programme, I really want to change peoples way of thinking. These are not just words, I usually achieve my goals as I am a dedicated person. The benefits I could bring to the programme and to the others participants are my out goingness as well as my discipline. Furthermore, I believe that my experiences and my way of thinking could be of interest to others as I am an open and mature person. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
