Business Mingle at Yankee Air Museum

On March 6th the Romulus Chamber of Commerce joined forces with the Ann Arbor, Belleville, Wayne and Westland Chambers in hosting a special Business Mingle Fundraiser at the Yankee Air Museum. A $10 donation at the door helped in the efforts to save the Willow Run Bomber Plant and create a new home for the Yankee Air Museum. Willow Run Airport was built by the Ford Motor Company in 1941 to serve as an airfield for their B-24 Bomber Plant. This was the first aircraft manufacturing plant to use Fords automotive mass production techniques, a leading technological innovation of the time. The Museum announced on March 28th that they have $1.5 million left to reach the $8 million goal. For more information on how you can helpcall 734-483-4030.
