This year Soroptimist International of Vallejo and Soroptimist International of Vallejo-Gateway will present their selections for the Live Your Dream awards in a joint ceremony honoring their Womens Opportunity award winners, their Violet Richardson award winners and their Ruby award winners. Its a great opportunity to celebrate the dreams and accomplishments of these wonderful women! Guests are welcome and must RSVP to Jackie at 707.631.1147 by March 12th. The cost is $30.

Its our Class picture taken February 24, 2014. Unfortunately (and unavoidably!) a few of us are missing probably because we are in action somewhere else! The cards we hold indicate how long we have been Soroptimists, ranging from March 1952 to January 2014! Amazingly amazing!

Service-in-Action. Under the leadership and direction of the Service-In-Action committee we have
provided infant and toddler clothing to the Amador Street Hope Center and support to one of our Womens Opportunity awardees (December); assembled and delivered 15 Valentines baskets to First Place for Youth for girls in foster care (January and February. Upcoming: Assemble and deliver baskets for girls graduating from or being emancipated from the foster care program. Ongoing: Dreams in Action Team Blanca contin-

ues our relationship with a young womans challenge to live her dream. For the Future: Initiated a fundraiser to begin building a financial base to support and encourage other girls/young women to Live their Dream. Truly Service-in-Action.
