Primary Sources: Monnet, Jean. "cvce.eu Guest." Memorandum from Jean Monnet to Robert Schuman (Paris, 30 November 1950).

Schuman, Robert. "cvce.eu Guest." Declaration by Robert Schuman (Paris, 9 May 1950). N.p., n.d. This is a statement by Robert Schuman, considered to be one of the founding fathers of the EU, representing his support for the European Coal and Steel Community, and, although it wasn't translated, I used a translator and summaries to understand it.

"Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community (Rome, 25 March 1957)." CVCE. N.p., n.d. Web. 11 Dec. 2013. <http://www.cvce.eu/obj/treaty_establishing_the_european_atomic_energy_community_ rome_25_march_1957-en-a3390764-3e75-421b-9c85-f52de5a14c2f.html>. This treaty was the second most important primary source on my list, because it was the other treaty that was signed at Capitoline Hill, and this one tried, and failed, to establish a Atomic Energy Commission to research on.

"Treaty establishing the European Economic Community (Rome, 25 March 1957)." CVCE. N.p., n.d. This document is the primary source from which my project is based off of, For it is the Treaty of Rome itself, or one of them at least. I used this information to understand and to explain unified commerce and universal laws, all pertinent to rights and responsibilities.

This is commonly known as the Spaak Report, it led to the signing of the treaties itself. This is because this report summarized the benefits and shortcomings the treaties would cause, and overall, encouraged the signatory countries.

"cvce.eu Guest." Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community (Paris, 18 April 1951). N.p., n.d. Web. 11 Dec. 2013. <http://www.cvce.eu/obj/treaty_establishing_the_european_coal_and_steel_community_ paris_18_april_1951_consolidated_version_1992-en-7d316c78-9e5e-48f2-90e9d9090e3374e2.html>. Secondary Sources: "A reporter remembers Rome 1957." BBC News. BBC, 22 Mar. 2007. Web. 23 Feb. 2014. <http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6480347.stm>. This wasn't truly an interview or complete account, as it was mixed with commentary, but I understood the gist of it because this article showed the repercussions that would be caused by the signing.

"EU Factsheets." Civitas: Treaty of Rome. N.p., n.d. Web. 13 Jan. 2014. <http://www.civitas.org.uk/eufacts/FSTREAT/TR1.php>. This webpage was very useful to me, because a gave a quick summary of the Treaty of Rome, giving me a general idea on how I should improve my text. I also found arguments for the Treaty of Rome, both supporting and contrast arguments for it. "How the EU works." EUROPA -. European Union, n.d. Web. 13 Jan. 2014.

<http://europa.eu/index_en.htm>. This website was very useful to me because it gave the most in depth political analysis of the European Union, as it is the EU's official website. This also gave be a breadth of visuals to use on my website, as well as a few quotes.

Little, Allan. "How divided Europe came together." BBC News. BBC, 23 Mar. 2007. Web. 23 Feb. 2014. <http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6483585.stm>. This is a source reflecting off of a person who helped type the treaties themselves, and the implications that she thought it had.

Ocaa , Juan Carlos . "History of the European Union and European Citizenship." History of the European Union and European Citizenship. Juan Carlos Ocaa , n.d. Web. 13 Jan. 2014. <http://www.historiasiglo20.org/europe/index.htm>. This website was useful to me because it gave me a way to double check my information, as well again some quotes. "cvce.eu." CVCE. The Government of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, n.d. Web. 6 Nov. 2013. <http://www.cvce.eu/>. This whole website was very important to me because of the incredible amount of primary sources, and commentaries that accompanied them. Although the documents were never

translated, leaving a great deal of work for me, the commentaries were translating, completing the difficult task of finding multiple primary sources.
