Sahih International

And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.

The Duaa of Ibrahim A.S. When he was raising the foundations of the house of Allaah, he made a dua

Sahih International

Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise." Allaah perfected his duaa and sent down.. Muhammad S.A.W. The story of Muhammad S.A.W. A noble man from a noble clan of his time. Truthful and honest in his personal and commercial dealings. Got married to a noble lady of her times.

He used to see true dreams, and would find the trees and stones giving Salaam to him. He used to meditate in a cave, remembering Allaah and thinking about the purpose of his life. Jibreel comes with the first revelation from Allaah

..The angel caught me and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He
then released me and again asked me to read and I replied: I do not know how to read..

Taught man that which he knew not.

Surah Al Alaq changed the role of this noble man to the Last Messenger of Allah The experience with the angel shakes Muhammad and he rushes back to his wife who comforts him. And reminds him of the good deeds he does, and Allaah will never dishonor him because he is kind and generous, and helps those in need. She then takes him to her cousin. Waraqa gives glad tidings of his Prophethood and warns him about the opposition that he will face from his own people due to the message he came with. As this is the Sunnah of all the messengers of Allah. The household of Rasoolullah S.A.W. accepts Islam. Abu Bakr accepted Islam. The first independent man to accept Islam. The 2nd Revelation An interval of few months before the second revelation. Muhammad S.A.W. is wrapped, and comes the 2nd revelation. Asking him to Arise and warn.

After the 2nd revelation, the revelation became frequent. At this point I would like to mention that: All the Prophets were commanded to teach their families the prayer, and to encourage them. Wives need to remind their husbands of their prayers, and their children. Husbands need to remind their wives of their prayers, and their children. Prayer will give comfort and strength, like it gave the sahaba and the Prophet.

Indeed, the hours of the night are more effective for concurrence [of heart and tongue] and more suitable for words. Stand the night in prayer. It was fardh on the Prophet and his Companions for the first few years of Islaam, and later on became abrogated and nafl. Standing in the night prayer gives one steadfastness to face trials of this life, and patience. It also increases the person in understand the delicate meaning of the words of His Lord. Standing promotes the memorization of Quran. Quran was not sent down just to be memorized without understanding the meaning. The ayaat have deep meanings behind them for some reason. The ayat Iqra tells us about the importance of reading and reciting The ayat Mudathir tells us about taking the message to those around us The Ayat Muzzammil tells us about worshipping Allaah and being steadfast Sahabah and their Role Sahabah were not only the people of the Quran. They were also the people of the Hadith, the people of the Sunnah, the people of the Language of the Quran. They understood what Allaah said.

Allaah has sent down this book with laws about prayer, and fasting, and detailed laws about transactions and divorce. When people lose the meaning, they also become ignorant of the commands of Allah. The same book is among us, packaged neatly. It brought radical changes in the sahaba. What about us? Our connection with the Quran It will bring the same changes in us if we follow it to the letter, the way sahaba did. The first step is : Taking the Quran off our shelves And Learning how to recite Then: Reciting and practicing till one becomes fluent Also: To learn the basic meaning of the words that re-appear Then: Memorize Follow it up with: Teaching and learning and so on.

Just like one prepares for his journey in this life where he goes to buy the ticket and gifts for his relatives and waits patiently for the plane to reach its destination. Everything is detailed yet he is able to take care of all of these details. Tajweed is only ONE part of the whole system. The best of you is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it to others. Sahaba had no physical or economic strength during the first 13 years of revelation. They had spiritual strength. The core group of the Sahabah, the ones who fought in the battle of Badr, took the message to everyone else. We can lead a blessed life too if we heed their path.

: .
Recite and Ascend.. "The one who was devoted to the the Qur'an will be told on the Day of Resurrection: `Recite and ascend (in ranks) as you used to recite when you were in the world. Your rank will be at the last Ayah you recite.'''

We need to protect the upcoming generations by teaching them and bringing them back to this Book. Do not abandon the Quran at any stage:

Do not abandon the meaning of the Quran Do not abandon the Quran in action

Sahih International

And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.

Do not abandon the healing of the Quran. Quran is a shifaa, a healing for the believers.

The minority of the believers in Makkah were steadfast upon their religion, and we are here learning about them and their deeds, and Allaah said about them ..
