AVALON INTRODUCTION: Avalon is an application software of Microweb Systems which is designed to automate and to manage the tasks done manually in the institute at the time of registration of student and then manage students data like courses, technology, fees, batches, placement, lecture monitoring. This is very complex application which deals with education domain. This application supports the various modules like, registration, profile, reporting and approval, lecture monitoring etc. There are some core components of Avalon application which interacts with some external and internal core components.

USER REQUIREMENTS: The user requirement for this system is to make the system fast, flexible, less prone to error, reduce expenses and save the time. Time can be saved by automation of work like batch assignment, fee submission. A facility to generate a result chart as pre required without manual interface.

The system should have records of students and faculty that can be access to the system which can be used only for the authorized person. The system should be more secure for management user records and more reliable to work at any conditions.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this application is to automate the work done manually in institutes while they conduct training programs and various types of processes that are held after registration of student like fees installment submission, batch creation, batch assignment, batch switching, placement reporting, lecture monitoring and certification. FEATURES: This application has some features that facilitate the users to work faster and more efficiently. Some of the features are as following:

Any student can register himself for interested training program. Just register by providing the personal details, courses, technologies. Batch creation, batch assignment and batch switching is done automatically by this. Fee installment submission if student has not submitted total fee. User can select the courses, its technologies, packages of fixed technologies, projects. Provides lecture monitoring to center head. Certificate generation according to duration and course. Facilitates the super admin for approval and reporting. Placement related information is provided.

ADVANTAGES:

Today, many institutes are conducting training programs by using this software they will be a part of the fastest growing world. Avalon software covers almost all type of problems faced by an institute while conducting training programs. Student can select any course, technology, package and project of his/her choice provided by institute. Automatic alerts /alarms are generated at appropriate events.

AVALON MODULES: This application has been divided into some smaller modules that are according to working of this Software. These modules are based on the authorization, permissions, request handling, monitoring of institute. Every module is depends on another module for some data and further processing. Data has been transferred between these modules through message passing and using request-response method. AVALON MASTER MODULE: Avalon Master is the core component of Avalon which is responsible to manage the whole software. It is Java distributed component that is used by Avalon Brower which would be mapped by a domain name and it is accessible for end users and institutes employees. Avalon Master provides validations, data enrichment, computation, send alarms and notification to registered students, balance sheet and also forecasting data for various auto generated reports. It is also used by Avalon Browser, Avalon Profile, Avalon Reporting and Lecture Monitoring System.
