Make It
Cook and stir bacon in large skillet on medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Drain all but 2 Tbsp. drippings from skillet. Add onions to drippings in skillet; cook 15 to 18 min. or until onions are golden brown, stirring occasionally and adding flour, pepper and half the bacon for the last minute. Whisk in broth. (Onion mixture will be thick.) Add chicken to slow cooker; cover with onion mixture. Cook on LOW 4 to 5 hours (or on HIGH 2 to 3 hours). About 15 min. before ready to serve, cook noodles as directed on package, omitting salt. Drain noodles; place on platter. Transfer chicken to platter, reserving onion mixture in slow cooker. Stir cooking creme into onion mixture. Top chicken with onion mixture, parsley and remaining bacon.

My entire family loved this! There's bacon - what's not to love?! I assembled it the night before and had one of my kids pop in in the slow cooker when they got home from school. I do recommend 2.5h on high, rather than 8h on low. Very moist!
My hubby and kids loved this... and even great as left overs....
This recipe calls for 3/4 cup of Phillie cooking cream cheese which is pretty much the entire tub so just use it all as there is nothing much you can do with the rest. This was "ok". It is quite high in fat so with the egg noodles it will sit heavy in your stomach. I will probably try to adjust the fat content to make it

Made this the other night and it turned out great!! Loads of flavor, to quote my husband. He loved it and now he wants me to make it for his family.
I made this recipe exactly as written and was very impressed! Both my husband and teenage son and I all loved it! It is very filling and a real "comfort food" kind of meal. I will definitely make this again!
We really enjoyed this recipe. I added some broccoli and used bacon bits instead of bacon, but fried the onions in bacon grease. Delicious
While this was more work than your typical slow cooker recipe in that it had an additional step - cooking the egg noodles just before time to serve - it was well worth the trouble. However, it is VERY rich and I would consider it to be an occasional meal only.
