The under mentioned steps for " Dissertation" (Grand Project) of around 200 page s shall help you plan your project work in a structured manner. An example , say on a company within the Pharmaceutical Sector:Step I:- The student selects say the Pharmaceutical Sector for Dissertation Step II :- The student selects the Pharmaceutical Company within the sector Step III:- The student does a total analysis of the Company & its performance in the last 8-10 years which Includes -3CET (covering the Company, the Customer, t he Competition, the Environment and the Technology) , SWOT , PEST (Political, Ec onomic, Social and Technological analysis) , Market Research , Financials , Acqu isition & Mergers , CSR if any etc. Step IV:- Detailed Comparison of Sector's Growth vis-a-vis Company's growth in t he last 5-6 years Step V:- Understanding Competition within the Sector in the present day context This activity shall be based on your past learnings & the specialization individ ually selected by you . You can also seek guidance & direction from your present Employer too, in case , you are interested to work on your dissertation in the existing company / secto r. Submission of dissertation should be completed on or before 7th April, 2014 ( Mo nday) and forwarded in soft copy to urvi@unitedworld.in.
