Guidelines for the Video Resume:

Why a video resume? The video resume is what the Screening and Selection Committee will use in assessing the applicants delivery and persuasion skills since both are essential qualities of a would-be delegate to the 10th National Youth Parliament. It is the closest thing to a face-to-face interview which the Committee opted to do away with for practical reasons. What do you include in the resume? Important: 1. Begin the video by SIMPLY stating your NAME, AGE, and PROVINCE. 2. Discuss your position on the following: SK: Abolish or Reform? The video should not be shorter than 2 minutes but not more than 3 minutes. What format do you use for the video? The video may be recorded using your cellphone video camera, laptop or computer video camera or any handheld video recorder. Use any of the major video formats supported by youtube.com (e.g. .avi, .mpeg, etc.) Where do you send the video? Email the video as an attachment to d41977vy5h7a@m.youtube.com. You will receive a confirmation email from www.youtbe.com upon successful receipt of the email Important: Subject line of the email should follow the following format: 10th NYP APPLICATION [Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial Province]
