Objectives
To successfully gain the interest of potential customers and give a brief overview of Petals Touch.

Process
I came up with Petals Touch for the company because my sister is currently attending massage therapy school and wants to open her own business someday. I began with desining the the logo using a unique curl concept for the flower. To create unity, I designed the rest of the brochure from the logos flowing qualities. I clipped two of my four photos and wrapped text around one. This created proximity as well as nice visual flow to lead the viewer throughout the layout. Overall, I wanted to leave the viewer feeling relaxed and intrigued. My simple layout and bold yet girlish colors accomplished this.

Objectives
To create an appealing layout using photography skills

Process
I took a variety of photos in several different categories and edited them in Adobe Photoshop. The photo I selected for the poster used a complimentary color scheme of orange and blue. I created a sense of unity by repeating that scheme in the rest of the layout. The diaganol lines call the viewer to take the action suggested by the quote and the fluidity across the bottom soldifies the layout. It also creates a sense of unity with the repeated pattern of circles at the top.

I changed the background, both the body and title fonts, the border color, and the body background color. I added comments within the CSS file to record the hex number for my colors. I also adjusted the alignment of the tex.t

Objectives
To create an eye-catching layout to be placed on a business card to promote and advertise.

Process
I began the same way I do with all of my projets, I sketched many ideas. I began with the logo and picked the one I thought would represent the company best. I then translated it into Adobe Illustrator and used text manipulation and the shape tool to complete it. I then moved to Adobe Indesign and completed the overall layout. By using a fun complimentary color scheme of orange and blue, I kept the design both professional and friendly. I incorporated white space into the layout to create separation and visual flow for the viewer.

Objectives
To create an interesting letterhead layout to be used as professional stationery

Process
I designed this logo using Adobe Illustrator. I used the pen tool to manipulate the text and the shape tool to create the larger dots over the is. I converted the u to a smoothie in a cup to promote the branding of the company. I left-aligned the contact information at the top to create a hierarchy and signify its importance. I underlined the top part with circles to create overall unity and used repitition again with the line at the bottom. It also serves to separate the letterhead from what will fill the rest of the page.

I also turned the opacity down to give it a better fade-in feel. I used different fonts and sizes for the text to give it a different hierarchy and to give it a better visual apeal.

Process
I began by sketching a variety of logos for the company. Then, I selected my three favorites and moved into Adobe Illustrator. I used the shape tool in the mac version of Microsoft Word to create the triangles and give the layout overall visual flow. I also changed the transparency to make it more appealing and to create interest for the viewer. I used white space between the blocks of information to create visual flow and I changed the size of individual text boxes to create a hierarchy.

Objectives
To design an appealing flier to attract attendees and distribute information.

Process
I began this project by sketching four different ideas for my layout. The elements were all provided so, after choosing a layout, I began to piece it together in Adobe Indesign. I used a large box at the top with large text to draw attention and create a focal point. I then created hierarchy by using larger and smaller text and placing the most important information at the top. I used white space to promote visual flow and to separate the elements.
