Course Description
This course is designed to develop knowledge and creative skills of the students in accordance with industry standards. It provides the basic desktop publishing guidelines, procedures and techniques and ways in making used of the latest development or applications available in creative design which includes graphics designing. It also provide the students with an understanding to help enhance their knowledge, creativity, and technical support skills in integration of different drawing and editing software as part of whole design process. The subject aims to equipped students to become future computer professional with adequate knowledge and skills in creative graphics design and desktop publishing which currently are in the core of operations of most establishments and enterprises.
Course Rationale
At the end of the course, the students are expected to gained knowledge and understanding about the basic procedures, guidelines of some popular creative design tool or software. Specifically, the students must be able to:

Learn the trends in creative design Learn the software and its concepts used in creative design and find out the various graphic file formats. Learn and understand the fundamentals uses and benefits of basic tools for creative design such as graphics software, photo editing software or desktop publishing or lay out software.

: Display appreciation on the importance and advantages creative design in everyday life or in workplace. Describes how self-fulfilling when you extend your creativity and give service to your workplace/office or people in the community. Recognize the uses of computer as aid in creative design making processes.
