I've attached his content in a word doc - i hope you can access it. you will see at the beginning and at the end he is actively involved in speculating, sharing/inviting theories, and even going so far as to ask for actual info on our family so as to further develop his theories. clearly we did not respond. Thank you so much for your help on this. I really think your message directly to their law enforcement desk will have a lot of clout, as I said, it's very quick and easy, and we aren't looking for an actual response from them - just that they be aware of the true nature of this page.

It is a very quick process. 650.543.4800, law enforcement is option 2, and then you leave your message. I think it is very important for them to know that the page is not condoned by law enforcement or the family and there is no compliance - it needs to be removed. Paul Murphy This was not just a crime against one person or one family. This was a crime of violence against an entire community. One is hard pressed to find someone from the Acme Valley area or Mt. Baker High School that weren't affected in very perso...nal ways. No disrespect to family is intended, but many people were affected by that murder. Justice must be sought and served, for the one who no longer has a voice, Mandy, even if the process makes some uncomfortable. Paul Murphy I have a couple of questions about various things I've heard in regards to Mandy's murder, but given the present direction I'm not confident it's appropriate to inquire or share investigative ideas here. My understanding is that information gathered here will be used to augment or add to, not replace, traditional LE in...vestigative efforts as long as no investigative compromises will result. Is that correct and is that still the idea here?

I've seen and have been involved with successes that come from this sort of approach in the past, so I have no trouble accepting the approach in theory or in practice. Two brains are better than one right? Three better than two and so on and so forth. A good tip that solves a crime is a good tip, no matter where it originates right? I've already run my curiosities by the site admin (who I call George because I have no idea who it really is, although I've been assured he/she is "okay") and have George's blessing.See More August 12 at 5:36pm 2 people like this. I'd like to explore a motive angle in the open for a bit. What I'm concerned about is offending anyone, especially Mandy's family and friends, not to be confused with stepping on toes or offending ego's. I don't concern myself with ego's, especially when

they are over-inflated, but I do care about needlessly hurting people's feelings and don't want to do that.

That's where I'm at and what I'm interested in. If the consensus is that it should not happen here, I'm fine with that and I'll leave it be. If the consensus approves, I'd like to find out what people may know or can contribute about a certain aspect of this case.

Paul Murphy A second page to focus on investigative aspects is a great idea.

Paul Murphy Okay, fasten your seat belts. Here we go.... Just to clarify: #1: I do work for the WCSO. #2: I'm not assigned to this case. ...#3: I've not read the case reports. #4: This is from my own personal interest as a county resident and citizen. Having said that, this case has come up many times in conversation, training, etc. Like many I suppose, I've had things said to me about it. Things have been whispered, spoken in confidence. Indirectly and directly referenced. I've heard accusations, denials, all sorts of things, none of which can be evaluated really because I didn't know much about the case until "George" and this page came along. Also, I study biker gangs. Not motorcycle riders or enthusiasts, but biker gangs. 1%'er gangs. Not people who ride motorcycles, but organized criminals that ride motorcycles in packs. We call them OMG's, outlaw motorcycle gangs. I read all I can find, I have an extensive collection of information, past and present, and I track intel on OMG's and

their members. The Bandidos (red and gold) and HA (red and white) roots are especially deep in this area. You'd be surprised. I've heard it said more than a few times, including a couple times in confidence, that this murder has some sort of nexus to "bikers", (undefined) as in OMG's I presume. I didn't know, still don't I guess, what to say or think about that. After many chat sessions and various discussions about it, I am seeing what I'll loosely call "hallmarks", or indications, of a possible OMG nexus. That's not "official", it's just my trained and experienced personal opinion and could possibly be explained in other ways. So first question: Does anyone else have any knowledge, tidbits, bits or pieces, anything at all that might support a motive theory that OMG'ers, individually or as a group, "bikers", could have been involved in some way with Mandy's murder?

Nana Saad Faye @Paul: what you say resonates with me. the "biker" theme is strangely familiar to me... i happen to recognize it as an element that I have seen in other cases where an entire family was targeted. August 22 at 2:56pm LikeUnlike 1 person Paul Murphy Yes, there are many instances of this sort of thing in the past nationwide. OMG'ers generally target other OMG's over territorial claims, or control of criminal enterprises, but have also been known to target for elimination: police, govern...ment officials, individuals involved with investigations, witnesses to charged cases, jurors, etc,...when they deem it in their best interest to do so. There really is no limit to what or who they will go after if there is something to gain or something to be protected from their twisted perceptions. If the "biker" theory were substantiated, and it's far too early to conclude something that, the next question would be: Why? What made that family a target?See More August 22 at 3:10pm LikeUnlike 2 people Loading...Nana Saad Faye Is the family Jewish? August 22 at 6:03pm LikeUnlikePaul Murphy No idea.

August 22 at 6:39pm LikeUnlikeTara Adrian Stavik No, the family is not Jewish. Spencer was Mandy's step-brother (her father's step-son), he drowned in AK in 1988. Her older brother Brent was murdered in AK in 1975. August 23 at 8:55am LikeUnlike Paul Murphy Interesting. I had the impression the deaths were closer together in time. Do you know anything about the circumstances of those two deaths? August 23 at 5:29pm LikeUnlikeNana Saad Faye Thank you Ms. Tara for explaining. I asked another question about siblings below, but maybe it's better to ask it here: are there more siblings? How many siblings and half-siblings did Amanda have? August 23 at 6:09pm LikeUnlikeTara Adrian Stavik Mr. Murphy, you might speak w/ the lead detective about the OMG theory. While the family has never really had any connection to motorcycling or bikers in general, either here or in AK, they (bandidos anyway) definitely had a presence, albeit a rather quiet one, in the valley when this happened. Although I'd like to hope that LE has already looked into and/or followed up on any possible connections. Again, the family would really like to direct people with any possible info or thoughts to the Sheriff's office. Paul Murphy Although Bandidos have a more visisble presence in Whatcom County, Bandidos AND Hells Angels have in the past and currently operate here. That's not new and it is true for the valley area as well. August 24 at 11:30am LikeUnlikePaul Murphy For the purpose of this page, "Bandidos" includes all "red & gold" clubs. Ditto for Hells Angels.

Tara Adrian Stavik Hey everyone, lets keep the main purpose of this page in mind: most importantly, to remember Mandy and share memories of her, and secondly but equally as important, to encourage anyone who has any information even remotely pertaining to her murder to contact law enforcement. Also, please bear in mind that law enforcement is not required to provide status updates on the investigation to the public, (this appears to be a recurring theme in the commentary), and the media is not necessarily a reliable source for accurate information. Again, please contact the Whatcom County Sheriffs Office (contact info under the notes tab of this page) with any questions or information you may have. Nana Saad Faye I have been thinking about Amanda's death in a different way.
