(iii) Lock in place by tightening Bolts (Fig. 1B). (iv) Silicone Rubber Boot back in place. B) PARALLEL TO KNIFE (i) Move Rubber Boot away from Adjustment Block. (ii) Loosen top/bottom Set Screws (Fig. 1C) on Adjustment Block (Fig 1A). (iii) Loosen Center Bolt (Fig. 1D) on Adjustment Block and adjust Gauge Plate (Fig. 1E) by moving its lower edge up or down. (iv) Lock in place by tightening Center Bolt (Fig. 1D), and tightening two Set Screws (Fig. 1C). (v) Silicone Rubber Boot back in place.
Fig. 1
C) HEIGHT (i) Overlap Knife by 1/32 (thickness of a dime) above the Gauge Plate when closed. (ii) To adjust, close Index Knob. (iii) Remove Cap from end of Index Knob and loosen Nut inside the Knob (1 turns). (iv) Hold Index Knob at 0, adjust the Gauge Plate by using a 6mm Allen Wrench to turn the Index Cam up or down to achieve overlap. (v) Hold Index Knob and tighten nut. (vi) Replace cap.
2) PRODUCT TABLE
A) ANGLE TO KNIFE (i) Roller (Fig. 2A) rides on top and Nylon Screw (Fig. 2C) slides on bottom of Square Rail. (ii) Roller is mounted to Block (Fig. 2A) on Carriage. Loosen Bolt (Fig. 2B) which holds Block to Carriage. (iii) Adjust Screw (Fig. 2C) until Product Table is at a right angle to Gauge Plate and secure Bolt (Fig. 2B). (iv) Apply Loctite 2440 to Nylon Screw (Fig. 2D) and adjust until it makes contact with Square Rail. (v) Stand Slicer up and ensure Carriage moves freely. (vi) If sticky, loosen Nylon Screw. (vii) If sloppy, tighten Nylon Screw. Fig. 2
