The Spotter sets BD. target ?' %eters downrange9

The Spotter fastens the shot-group transparen+y to the BD. target su+h that the =ero ,ines of the transparen+y ,ine up with the =ero ,ines of the BD. target and the %arCed shot group +ir+,e is ,ow and to the ,eft of the target9 Warning. Do not look at the IR beam.

The Shooter atta+hes the 4oresight fi,ter to the PAQ-4C and sets the ad5uster Cno4s to their neutra, positions9

Fro% a supported-prone position- using sand4ag or pa+C- the Shooter ai%s at the +enter of the BD. target using the iron sights and then a+ti@ates the PAQ-4C 4ea%9

The Spotter o4ser@es the i%pa+t of the infrared 4ea%- and +a,,s ad5ust%ents unti, the 4ea% i%pa+ts on the %arC 1!9)3 +% to the ,eft and 1?9)3 +% 4e,ow the +enter of the BD. target9

2epeat this pro+ess unti, the infrared 4ea% i%pa+ts in the +enter of the +ir+,e on the prepared shot-group transparen+y9

.n+e 4oresight ad5ust%ents ha@e 4een %ade- do not reset the ad5usters9 .n+e 4oresighted- the PAQ-4C +an 4e re%o@ed fro% the M-1 A! and then put 4a+C on without ,osing the 4oresight9 Fou %ust re-4oresight if you re%o@e the %ounting rai,9
