Whether the weather information for today is accessible Detail of the local weather in terms of specific conditions in the

sky were disp layed after the information was retrieved, this wasn't a phrase to say whether t o bring additional clothes or an umbrella for example; there was no personal tou ch to it. The app only stated conditions such as sunny; partly cloudy along with the wind speed and the celsius temperature metric. Whether it helps them choose whether to bring an umbrella or not How fast it is Total of 4 commands before retrieving the local weather for the first time Loading>turning on native location access settings>confirming current location>w aiting for the network to connect and access to the required information This interrupted the data retrieval for the first time but afterwards as the app was used repeatedly, all the settings were configured already so the weather re trieval only required a wait due to the network speeds if the current location o f the user had changed Overall the app takes about a minute to retrieve the weather on first launch aft erwards it takes about 10 seconds which is also based on the network speeds avai lable to the mobile location. Basis on the UX complexity of the app Yahoo have decided to use the tray app icon and side bar design pattern in their app, this confirms that they are conceding with modern design trends. This is a generic design trend seen in other apps such as Facebook's own. They have decided to make the app focused on transparency in regards to typograp hy choices placed in front of a dynamic loading flickr photo retrieved in relati on to the user's current location. It can be said that the attention to detail i s conclusively positive because of the trends of typography, icon usage and the full screen dynamic photos to add a genuine feel There is no personality to the app we feel in the sense that it does no communic ate personally to the user by telling them a common sense suggestion to bring an umbrella in certain cases if the data predicts it'll rain later on in the day w hich is a negative. Sources of what will annoy the stakeholders Network availability and speed affecting how easy/length of time required to ret rieve the weather data How visible the screen is (Environmental variable) Whether the app will load at all, bugs in loading (More related to the fragmenta tion of the running platform, i.e. Hardware, version) Whether the app has adverts for example? How technical knowledgeable the stakeholder is; related to age range as a hypoth esis? e.g. Do they want to mess with location settings native to the hardware (a lso based on fragmentation of the app platform it is running on; these are exter nal sources of performance like UX design of the user's hardware + software. Oth er external factors would be like how easy it is to install the app but these ar e varaibles outside of our system. Depending on the user's emotional state, will the UX positively or negatively af fect their state further? e.g. Personal touch to the app or loading times of the app and the network speed s, will negative reviews be based on the hardware of the running application or will it be the way the app is coded directly leading to bad performance? Changes in the stakeholder hierachy along with performance of a role affecting a nother stakeholder within the system

If a designer does a poor job and does not understand technical implementation, the developer may be unable to satisfy the designer's good performance in UX eas iness. If a developer does a poor job of implementing the design, the end user using th e app will be affected the most as this will affect all performance variables su ch as UX execution and performance and actual functionality being a success or a failure.
