One Life on Track

Lieza embarked on a new life when she left the Philippines for the United States several years ago. One of her aunts, a former Goodwill employee and program graduate, suggested Lieza take classes at Goodwill, so she did, graduating from our 10-week Retail and Customer Service Training Program in December of 2009. Lieza landed a job as a cashier in the food court of a supermarket and was promoted to Lead Cashier. Lieza was able to buy a car to help with transportation, and her parents recently emigrated here as well. She is making plans to attend community college next year.

Lieza was very eager to learn and had a clear vision of how she saw her new life.
