    SS 2343 is a Swedish standard stainless steel grade with the following chemical composition ranges: C max 0.05%, Si max 1%, Mn max 2%, P max 0.045%, S max 0.03%, Cr 16-18.5%, Ni 10.5-14%, Mo 2.5-3%. It has a minimum yield strength of 520 MPa, tensile strength of at least 415 MPa, and minimum elongation of 15%. SS 2343 can be supplied as plates, sheets, coils, rounds bars, flat bars, tubes, and profiled forgings in various sizes. It has good mechanical properties, hardness, and heat and corrosion resistance.
