IN A CITY OF CARS, WHAT STRATEGY DID WE CHOOSE TO INCREASE CYCLISTS? AND

DECISION: TO CHANGE FAST


- TO INVEST ON GREEN AND PUBLIC SPACE, SIMULTANEOUSLY - TO CREATE ECOLOGICAL CONTINUITIES AND GREENWAYS - TO LEAD THAT RECREATIONAL CYCLING TURNS TO COMMUTING CYCLING

- TO PUT CYCLING FAST ON THE MAINSTREAM

WHAT KIND OF INVESTMENTS?


1. Largely on the City flat areas 2. Mainly associated to greenways
3. Clear language, as a new image entering in the City 4. Usefull, linking to main transport interfaces or major equipments 5. Safe structures, atractive to new users
