Woodpelletfuelisstoredinthehopper.An augerdeliversthefueltotheburngrate.The fuelrate,orheatoutput,issetbyadjustingthe HeatLeveltouchpad,(settings1to4).Ablower providescombustionairtotheburngrate.The properamountofcombustionairissuppliedto theburngrateautomaticallyandchangesasthe HeatLevelchanges.ThehighertheHeatLevel, thelargertheamountofcombustionair.The fuelburnsintheburngrate,producingheat.The heatpassesaroundtheheatexchangetubesand isblownintotheroombytheconvectionfan. Exhaustgasesexitthroughthestovesexhaust vent. TheHearthlandsheatoutputcanbeadjustedfrom HeatLevelsetting14,bypressingontheHeatLevel touchpad. TheconvectionfancanbeadjustedusingtheFan Speedtouchpadtorunfasterorslowertocorre spondtotheamountofheatdesired. Thismodestopstheaugerfuelfeedsystemandrunsthecombustionblower&convectionfanfor10minutesor untilthestoveexhaustcoolsbelow120F,atwhichpointallelectricalcomponentswillbeoff.Shutdownmode occurswhenOFFispressedonthetouchpadorfromothercauses.Ifthishappensunintentionally,findand correctthecauseandpressstartonthetouchpad.(SeeSection#9Troubleshooting)

HopperLidSwitch
Thisdeviceismountedontherightsideofthehopperopening.Whenthehopperdoorisopen,theswitchstops theaugerfeedsystem.Ifthehopperdoorisleftopenformorethanoneminute,theunitwillentershutdown mode.Ifthishappensunintentionally,simplyclosethedoorandpressstartonthetouchpad.

VacuumSwitch
Thevacuumswitchensuresthatthevacuumoftheentirecombustionsystemismaintained.Theswitchis locatedontheinnerrearwalloftheunitandtakesameasurementfromthefreshairintaketube.Ifthe vacuumswitchfailstoreadadequatenegativepressureformorethanoneminute,theunitwillentershut downmode.Thisfeatureensuresthatthestovewillnotoperatewiththedoorajarortheashpan tightenedincompletely.NOTE:Ifleftopenduringoperationformorethan60seconds,thestovewillenter shutdownmode.Ifthishappens,findandcorrectthecauseandpressstartonthetouchpad.(SeeSection #9Troubleshooting)

IntelligentTemperatureController(ITC)
TheITCfeatureofyourstovemonitorstheexhausttemperatureandadjustsfuelfeedaccordinglytomaintain consistentheatoutputtemperatures.Inthismanner,theITCisabletoregulatestoveheatsettingswithgreat accuracy,compensatingforvariationsinfuelsuchassizeandBTUcontentaswellasoptimizingfuelefficiency andpreventingoverfiring.

L250HighLimitSwitch
Yourpelletappliancehasahigh temperaturelimitswitchasanadded safetymeasureiftheITCweretofail.If thetemperatureatthislocationexceeds 250F,theunitwillentershutdown mode.Ifthisoccurs,findandcorrect thecauseandpressstartonthe touchpad.(SeeSection#9 Troubleshooting)

Ifthepowerlostduringoperation,the stovewillstoprunningandthefirewill extinguish.Whenthepowerisrestored, thestovewillrestartandreturntothe heatandfansettingitwasoperatingat beforepowerwaslost.

IMPORTANT

Neveremptypelletsfromtheburnpotintothehopper.Pelletsthatmayappearcoolmayretain enoughheattoigniteotherpelletsresultinginsmokeorfiredamage. Ifstovesfailstolightwithin15minutes,thecontrollerwillshutoff.Ifthishappens,emptyburngrate andbeginthestartingprocedureagain.Ifstovefailstoigniteasecondtime,disconnectstovepower andcontactyourdealer. ThisLimitedWarrantywillnotapplyifyourstovehasnotbeeninstalled,operated,cleanedand maintainedinstrictaccordancewiththemanufacturersinstructions.Burninganythingotherthan PremiumGradewoodpelletsmayvoidtheWarranty.TheWarrantydoesnotcoverdamageorbreakage duetomisuse,improperhandlingormodifications.
