THROUGH APRIL 15 - Testing will be from 8:30 10:00am. CONGRATULATIONS TO TRACK TEAM MEMBERS TYANNA TOWNSEND & MYESHA CAMPBELL At the District Track meet on April 8 . . . Tyanna placed 1st in the 1600 meter run, 2nd in the 800 meter run, & 4th in long jump. Myesha placed 1st in the 300 meter hurdles & 3rd in the 100 meter hurdles. Both will go on to compete at the Regional Meet in Tallahassee at Florida High School on April 19 th.

ELEMENTARY EASTER PICTURES - TODAY, APRIL 10 The Easter Bunny will be in the library starting at 11:00am today for elementary
students who would like to have their picture taken with him. The cost is $3.00 per picture. This is a Fundraiser for the 4th Grade Class Trip.

**SAC Meeting Date Change: The April 15th SAC meeting has been rescheduled for Tues, April 22. **Soccer Senior Day Rescheduled from April 12 to Saturday, April 19! **Cheerleading Try-out Packets: Packets are available from Ms. Leigh Smith (room413) or Ms. Lynn Clark (room 421).
Students must be in 5th through 11th grade, have a 2.2 GPA on current report card, & have no more than 3 discipline referrals for the school year. Packets must be completed & turned in by April 28. Try-out conditioning will be April 29-May 1 in the H/S gym, 2:30-5:00pm. Try-outs will be on May 2 in the H/S gym@ 4:00pm.

VPK Registration: April 10, 17, and 24 at the Learning Center, 85 School Road, Eastpoint.
Items needed: Childs Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Recent Physical, Shot record, proof of residency, parent identification. All documents must be submitted to be registered for the 2014-2015 VPK program. You will need to obtain a VPK certificate of eligibility from the Coalition. This can be obtained the third Thursday of every month. Mr. Noc Hardee completes the eligibility forms for all students. You must have a completed form to qualify for VPK/8:00 -11:00. School Readiness is a program from 11:00-2:00. You must qualify for this program, working 20 hours a week, and or going to school. The fee for the afternoon session from 11:00 2:00 is $9.00 a day or $45.00 a week. Rules and regulations must be followed for this program. **For more information please call 670-2810, ext. 4117.

The GED Test will not administered by the Franklin County School District until further notice. For alternative testing locations, contact Maxine Creamer at the Literacy Center at 670-4481. Franklin County School District is no longer required by the FL. Dept. of Education to keep GED records. Individuals interested in obtaining their GED diploma/transcripts must contact FLDOE at 850-245-0449 or at their website: ged.fldoe.org
