Field Day 2014

DFES Fox Cubs are gearing up for Field Day 2014 on Friday, May 23rd. We need parent volunteers to make this a successful day. Please contact Coach Adkins or Devon Greenan (PTO in charge of volunteers) if you would like to volunteer. In order to make it easier on the parents we have a 9:00-11:20 time slot and an 11:30-2:00 time slot. Also, there is going to be a change in Field Day this year. We are asking that one parent PER CLASS volunteer to spend the whole day with the class. This will make it easier on the classroom teacher. Please contact your childs home room teachers if you are interested. Only DFES students are allowed to attend Field Day. This is for the safety of everyone.

There are four sessions offered throughout the year to help children through their normal grieving process and help them adjust to the loss. Children are encouraged to attend all four sessions; they can work through the year and into the following year, if necessary, to complete all four sessions. Upcoming dates for 2014 are April 14, July 21, and October 20. You must register before the event to participate.
