The annual golf tournament is the primary fund-raiser for Children's Emergency Resources, Inc. It is an important source of funds for helping the children of indigent families in Martin County with emergency medical needs. We are asking all community members and local businesses to pitch in and help us help the children in any way they can. Children's Emergency Resources, Inc. is funded in part by United Way but it must raise funds with organization events in order to help the children and continue to receive funding from United Way. Through the networking initiative with health professionals in every school in Martin County, CERI keeps up-to-date on community needs. It has supplied wheelchairs, nebulizers, eye glasses, hearing aids, medication, dental services, lice treatment, funds for emergency medical services and many other health related services to the children in Stuart, Jensen Beach, Port Salerno, Indiantown, Hobe Sound and Palm City. Children's Emergency Resources, Inc. has minimal overhead, one part-time paid staff and no office. All directors are unpaid volunteers. View our website at www.childrensemergencyresources.org
