1. PDA Viewer
1.1. Product Overview
PDA Viewer is the Software that makes to monitor video in real-time, search video recorded of our H/W units through PDA.

It supports WESP based eDVR, WebEye, WinDVrS product groups.

1.2. Recommended device and specification

PDA Viewer supports Touch Screen and capable to use with device of MS Pocket PC, but do not support SmartPhone type without Touch Screen and other Pocket PC sized low resolution square size. Please refer to the following chart for the detailed information.

1.3. Limitation
l l Support max. 5fps per each channel for division 4 channel in real-time simultaneously. It maybe not efficient for the search of recorded images (Because it cannot play 30 fps fully.)

1.4. Program installation

1) Execute install program that suits for PDA OS & CPU from PDA Viewer Setup CD. (Ex. In case of Pocket PC 2003, HP iPAQ, execute PDAViewer_ppc2003ARMV4_0.9.2.exe) PDA viewer program is able to install after installation of ActiveSync and connection PDA to cradle by authorizer who has admitted as Local administrator.

2) Click Next.

3) Click Finish after Accept License agreement.

4) Install PDA viewer to directory by click Yes.

5) Program starts with execution of PDAViewer2005.exe which is installed in the directory PDA device(Pocket PC) > Program Files > PDAViewer.

2. Functions
2.1. Real-time video monitoring

Select unit to connect on the list. Add unit/Edit/Delete is capable through right icon.

It is able to select whether it views real-time images or search recorded images in the unit.

It indicates present time of unit image.

Max. visible division on screen is 4 channels. It can select division with 1, 4 button. With <, > button, it can move to previous or next group from present division selected. (Namely, there are 1~16 ch and select 4 ch division. Then it can move to [1,2,3,4], [5,6,7,8], [9,10,11,12], [13,14,15,16] )

With connection to unit, it activates the channel button as channels of units. It can play video of channel present selected by pressing channel button. Playing channel will be signed in Red.

As many sensors of unit, icon will be activated. And it shows present On/Off staus of sensor.

As many relay-out of unit, assigned button will be activated. It shows present On/Off status of Relay output and operatable On/Off with selection of the button.

In case of 1ch division and support PTZ, it can operate PTZ with relevant button and change mode with Normal, Area Zoom In button.

2.2. Unit Management

or can make display followings on screen for Add Unit or Edit unit.

Select through direct address & Port input or Auto Detect, and press Find button to connect. If it is accessable to unit, the unit data will pop up and OK button will be activated. To log-in to unit, input User ID & Password. And click OK button to complete the unit adding.

When the use of Dynamic IP, it is possible to register of units that is registered in WRS through searching Serial number.

2.3. Recorded Video Search

It supports the function to search recorded video images by each channel.

It supports moving by the time through whole HDD of unit.

It is able to select any channel to search.

From Left icon, Previous Frame, Backward Play, Pause, Forward Play, Next Frame functions is executed.

2.4. PTZ function

When Division 1 is assigned to the channel 1 with PTZ, this channel can operate in both Normal and Area Zoom-in mode.

3. Integration with Control Center Enterprise

On the local network, exisiting unit lists that connected to Master Control Center Enterprise will be on. After selection of Master CCE from lists, press OK after input Admin & Password. It will output the lists as above be receiveing unit registry data from CCE. As above, it is easy to use PDA viewer without unit registery by connection to CCE.
