Katherine said about the Executive Diamond Distributor.

Next stop for this eager couple: Atlantic City. For now,
however, they’re taking action and building a business, but
more than ever before, having fun and doing something
that matters to them. The result has been twofold: together
they are becoming leaders for a team that is growing and

they are discovering new things about each other and
realizing their greater strength as a unit.

Why it’s Important
Regional Directors

to
Coach
your
Manon Courchesne
Team
Regional Sales Director, Eastern Canada Division

As with sports, a good business coach provides personalized guidance to his teammates in the
areas where they need the most support. As coach, it’s also an opportune time to reaffirm your
belief in their potential, and to affirm that they can build a successful business and fulfill their
goals and dreams.

T The great basketball star, Michael Jordan, is a great

example. In 1991, when he led his team to win the first
NBA Championship, he said:
“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost
almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the
game-winning shot, and missed. I’ve failed over and over
again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
It’s a good thing that Michael Jordan’s coach never stopped
believing in him and never threw in the towel on his potential
to become the superstar and role model that he is today.
The secret to being a good coach? Coaching is not all
about correcting behavior, it’s also about recognizing and
reinforcing what is right. This approach to coaching forces
you to take a balanced look at how your Distributors are
doing, placing equal emphasis on what they are doing well,
and the areas they need to improve. Behavioral change is
most successful when feedback is offered and received in a
positive environment where the trial-and-error approach
is encouraged.
You need to celebrate risk-taking and the mistakes that often
result. It’s a process. You have to give people the freedom to
try and fail over and over, then try again and succeed.

Pure Milk Calcium

Calcium Supplement!
It’s much, much more!
Jimmy Gutman, MD

I know it sounds strange, but when I hear people referring to Pure Milk Calcium as our “calcium
supplement”, I get defensive. You cannot hold Pure Milk Calcium next to any other calcium
supplement in the pharmacy or health-food store and make any comparisons other than saying
they both contain calcium – beyond that, the differences are profound.

stretch it, stuff that you dig up from the ground is natural,
but clearly we need to look harder at the definition. The
more elaborate ones may have some magnesium or even
vitamin D added, but be ready to pay a premium for these.
Before we get into Pure Milk Calcium, let’s discuss why
we just can’t get our calcium from our foods. Ideally, this
would be the best way to do it. We should be getting all of
our nutritional requirements from our foods, but obviously
this can be difficult. Medical practitioners who say you
don’t really need to take vitamin pills
if you are eating properly, may as well
say that people needn’t wear seatbelts
if we all drove properly. The truth is,
the majority of us will benefit from
supplementation, and this is why you
see such a large section in the drug store
selling calcium supplements. Most
doctors by now are cognizant enough
to have written many prescriptions
for calcium.

Shaping Up for
For Marion and Gary Henderson, their Immunotec business is like a game of basketball. They say
they’ll keep doing the drills because they know their practice will eventually pay off with a mighty
score in the big game. Their drills include attending corporate events, participating in training calls,
and continually using the business tools. And the mighty score, sweet in so many ways, will be to
experience the success of the many leaders whose actions they have sought to duplicate since first
coming on board as Distributors.

A And while their businesses have grown considerably,

perhaps two of the most important additions to their team

self-improvement is the key to success, and forever
challenging us to step out of our comfort zone. She’s a
leader. As we saw her transformation, we too became
interested in the business, but also in our own growth.”
Every Thursday, Marion and Gary have a home meeting,
where Distributors are invited into their home, but also to
join the product and business opportunity via telephone
conferencing. This allows for a maximum amount of
people to participate in the meeting, and even for long-
distance recruiting.
Marion is forever touting the importance of the
Success Guide, the weekly business calls, and the
available tools, but these days, the focus always reverts to
Atlantic City. “I want my team to be excited about their
business, to be purposeful. This event is not a pep rally. It’s
an opportunity to gather the tools you need to take home
with you. It’s meeting Distributors who have succeeded,
who have gone this route. It’s very powerful.”
In fact Marion was so impressed with motivational speaker,
Pat Pearson who was at the 2007 Annual Event, that she

“Our future success will be built on the

Message
products, and our legacy of integrity.”

from the President

I’m just finishing my 8th month at Immunotec and I grow more
and more excited by the huge opportunity that each of you has
to build big teams and even greater businesses. Our growth has
been accelerating each month, driven by the development of new
Silver and Gold leaders, and in turn, their development of many
new Distributors. I view this as a “new beginning” for Immunotec,
where, together, we will take your businesses, and hence, your great
company, to the next stage of sustained growth.
While we have begun within the last few months to realize our
ENORMOUS potential, I look at our upcoming 2008 Annual Event
in Atlantic City as the true kickoff for the NEW Immunotec, where
we will launch the initiative to make our company not only the best,
but the biggest network marketing company in North America!
Our future success, of course, will be built on the foundation
of our truly remarkable, efficacious, and scientifically-based
products, and our legacy of integrity, which together, have made
Immunotec unique in the network marketing world.
In addition, we will be announcing new products, programs, and
support which will provide you with the tools you need to grow
your Distributor base and take your business to the next level.
And, of course, this event provides us with the opportunity to
bring our Immunotec family together, to celebrate our successes,
share the knowledge and wisdom we have collectively gained,
and to have fun together knowing that we are adding value to
people’s lives.
I look forward to meeting each and every one of you… and
learning about your experiences, needs, hopes and dreams so that
I may lead our company with your goals in mind, and we may
collectively achieve our full potential at Immunotec.
We have a maximum capacity at this facility of only 1,000 people,
and we want every seat to be filled. I urge you to personally
register NOW and to encourage EVERYONE on your team to be
in Atlantic City from September 12-14, 2008 to experience the
beginning of the NEW Immunotec.
Warmly,

James A. Northrop
President & CEO
