Operational Objectives: Knowledge Ss will be able to name the wild and domestic animals; Skills Ss will be able to talk about wild and domestic animals; Attitude Ss will form positive attitudes toward productive communication.

Stages of the lesson (Learning Activities)

Teachers and pupils activities There is a crossword on the blackboard. We have to complete it and to find the key words that are on the vertical green line. The words that are in this crossword are the name of the animals. I have some pictures with animals here. On the back of images there are its numbers. In order of its number you have to come to the blackboard and to write the name of the animal in the crossword. What are the key words we have found? Read, please. Domestic & wild animals. Today we will speak about The Animal World. Lets listen to a song. Be attentive, because you have to find the animals that are in this song. What animals do you hear in this song? Cow, pig, dog, duck, horse. There are domestic or wild animals? There are domestic animals.

Lets make a list of domestic animals on the blackboard and in your copybooks. Do you know some other domestic animals? Lets write it in our list and in your copybooks. Sheep, cat, rabbit, hamster, parrot, hen, turkey, ox. Open your books on page 80 (eighty) and lets read the text At the Zoo. Be attentive and check out the animals. Every pupil will read and translate per one sentence. Lets make a list of the animals that have been mentioned in the text. Lion, tiger, elephant, camel, monkey, wolf, bear, kangaroo. Do you know some other wild animals? Snake, turtle, fox, deer, zebra, giraffe. Lets write it in our list and in your copybooks. Everybody of you has per one image with an animal you have chosen at the beginning of the lesson. You have five minutes to describe your animal and then you have to read your description in the front of the class.
