Residents should show of well they are able to carry out daily routines, and how well they have adjusted to living at the nursing home. The persons mental state is described as the psychological and motor skills and the observations will show how much, either improved or not, the person still has intact. When coming to a nursing home people think they will lose their sense of independency and be confined to a small room. People not only improve their health by eating three days a meal, or taking part in activities coordinated throughout the day but also physical therapy, doctor visits, and most importantly sociali ing with others. !y prediction " hope will be positive to improve or maintain a persons functioning mental state, because there is a huge demand for nursing homes everywhere.
