Section 1: Chemical Identification
ReaLyse Lysing solution (10X)

Section 2: Composition
Buffered solution containing Diethylene Glycol and Formaldehyde.

Section 3: Hazardous Identification

Contains Diethylene Glycol and Formaldehyde.

Section 4: First Aid measures

Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure. Wash thoroughly after handling. In case of
skin contact; immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. In case
of eye contact; rinse opened eye for 15 minutes under running water and seek
medical advice. In case of swallowing; seek immediate medical advice.

Section 5: Fire fighting measures

Non flammable. Suitable extinguishing agents - Use fire fighting measures that
suit the environment. Protective equipment - No special measures required.

Section 6: Accidental release measures

Collect and dispose of all waste in accordance with applicable loss.

Section 7: Handling and storage

Prevent formation of aerosols. Do not breathe gas/fumes/vapour/spray. Store at
room temperature.

Section 8: Exposure controls and personal protection

Wear appropriate gloves, protective clothing and follow a safe laboratory
practices. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

Section 10: Toxicological information

Formaldehyde is harmful by inhalation, in contact with skin, and if swallowed. It
is irritating to eyes and skin. If swallowed small amounts of Diethylene Glycol is
toxic.

Section 11: Ecological information.

The ecological effects have not been thoroughly investigated, do not allow the
product to reach ground water or sewage system.

Section 12: Disposal considerations

Must not be disposed of with solid waste. Disposal must be made according to
local, state regulations.

Section 13: Transport information

As per IATA regulations, this is not listed in the Regulation IR manual. It is
“Non- dangerous”.

Section 14: Other information

Final determination of suitability of any material is the sole responsibility of the
user. All materials may present unknown hazards and should be used with
caution. Although certain hazards are described herein, we cannot guarantee that
