brittanyjsearle@gmail.com April 2, 2014 William Brodegard Director of Regulatory at Southeastern Mills 333 Old Lindale Road Rome, GA 30161 Dear William Brodegard: As a current Food Science major at Brigham Young University, I am very interested in internships with Southeastern Mills. I am a sophomore in the program and I believe that experiences in many different areas will help me decide which career would be best for me. Thus, I am interested in any position that has to do with food regulation, quality control, or product development. My work experience as provided in my resume below shows that I am a diligent worker and a quick learner. Before working at the BYU laundry I hardly knew how to use a sewing machine, and after only a year I was able to do almost any kind of alteration to any type of clothing as well as use an industrial sewing machine, serger, and blind hemmer. I love to learn new things and I believe that experience is the best teacher. I would love to come and learn through experience at Southeastern Mills. If you have any additional questions, or would like to schedule an interview, please feel free to contact me at brittanyjsearle@gmail.com. I look forward to meeting with you and discussing the possibilities of working together. Sincerely,

Brittany Searle
