2. Safety Device
When elevator is overspeed, cut of power supply of system.
Start the emergency stop device of elevator.

Stop the elevator safely through the activity of governor.

n case of clipping passenger when closing door. Door operator
opens door automatically to protect the safety of passenger.

Detect whether passengers or goods is at the door.

The buzzer will ring when elevator is overload.
Elevator stops running and the door is open .
Until the overload signal is off, elevator can run normally.
And then decide to open or close the door.

Follow the tips on elevator. Overload will
cause accident, do not do it.
Do not jump in car it will cause the safety
device actived.
Do not let dust fall into sill. Press button by hands. Use umbrella or some
sharp things will damage the button.

Warn
For the safety of passenger, please abide by the following rules.
For the correct using of elevator and the safety of passengers, the manager section should

Follow the rescuer's order when being rescued.
When elevator operator exits, please follow his instruction .
Follow the tips on sticker when no elevator operator.
The key of elevator should be kept at operator, manager and maintenance personnel.

When elevator operator gets sick or tired, please report the manager personnel .
DO not operate elevator in such situation.
Do not operate elevator when drunk or smoking.
No overload.
When happens accident or elevator runs abnormal, please stop elevator .
Report it to manager personnel and follow it instruction.
When operation is finished, park the elevator at setting floor, turn on stop switch,
Lock the key switch box and report it to manager personnel.
No problem of handwheel, brake release lever when taking emergency
rescue. After cutting off power ,do rescue working.

.Open hall door by hall door key when elevator stops caused by fault and
passengers are trapped in car.
.Do not use others keys except for special designed key for hall door.
t will be the reason for fault.

.Do not let other person take key for hall door and key switch box except for
manager personnel. t may cause fallen accident because of improper using
.Use hall door key to open hall door about 5cm and check whether car is at
this floor. Keep body balanced, lean back ,open the door.
Behind the hall door is hoistway when car is not at this floor. So be careful.
When car is not at this floor ,close hall door.)

4.Operation Methods

Method without elevator operator. Elevator run automatically according to hall and car call.
Door open and close are also automatically.)
Attendant
Method with elevator operator, most of time in department store which has heavy people flow.
Elevator operates according to operator .it has nothing to do with running direction or call.
Elevator stops at floor ,door opens automatically. But it needs pressing close door button

Elevator runs according to UP and DOWN button in operation panel. t will stop at the
floor and door open automatically. But you need press the close door button until door closed.
Emergency Operation
When happens fire accident, active the switch at specified floor1FL)or emergency call button
n duty room to park elevator to specified floor. And then open door automatically and waiting.
When fireman enters into car and turn on FRE1 and FRE2 switch to start fire operation.
When doing emergency operation, elevator is not respond to call. Emergency operation light
will be on at all floor and duty room.

6)AUTO Operation
Q Turn power switch to POWER| .
Turn emergency stop switch to AUTO|.
Turn AUTOHAND switch to AUTO|.
Turn door power switch to DR ON|.
Press hall button at car stops floor, the door will open .
Press the other hall button ,elevator will go to that floor
and open door automatically.
During the door closing process, press the same direction hall
button as elevator running direction, door will open right now.
Press destination floor button and its light will be on.
Press close door button and the door will close right now.
when elevator reaches destination floor ,the light of
destination floor button will be off.
when door is open, check the floor number on
Door will close automatically after 3`5 seconds. Press open
door button will prolong the open door time. Release the

Q Turn off park switch at hall indicator to enter into stop mode.
Press park switch to OFF|, elevator will not enter into stop mode immediately.
Turn off park switch ,elevator responds to all registered floors with
the same running direction as elevator. Then park to specified floor.
Reaches destination floor ,open the door ,cancel all registered floor. After 20
seconds, buzzer rings 3 times ,close the door, turn off all the light and
position indicator.
Elevator does not respond to any call in this situation.
z Accoring to demand of customer ,the elevator could stop with door open.
Elevator parks at one floor
Q Open the key switch box.
Press POWER switch to OFF|, elevator enters into stop mode.
According to different mode, it may set power switch to POWER| to stop mode.)
Press POWER switch to OFF|, elevator will not enter into stop mode immediately.
Set power switch to OFF| when elevator stops at one floor ,door will Open ,
light will be off and enter into stop mode.
Set power switch to OFF| during running ,elevator stops at bottom floor ,
open the door and turn off light.

.Emergency exit on car top only can be used by elevator
manufacture and maintenance personnel for rescuing passengers.
.Using interphone to confirm the following things
QWhen elevator happens fire ,power cut and other accident,
open hall or car door to get passenger out of cage. But
be care in case fo fallen accident.
Others should not keep hall door key, except for manager
personnel.
Before using key to open hall door, please check
elevator's location and status.

2)Emergency Rescue Tips
When receive elevator accident from passenger, make right judgement, give proper instruction
to passenger ,take correct measure. Or manager personnel take emergency measure in person.
Car reaches destination floor and car door does not open
!.Tell passenger to do follow things by interphone:
Press open door button.
t does not work. Press floor and close door button to let elevator run.
?.The above method can not work. Manager personnel and rescuer should.
Open door by hand through door operator on car top to get passengers
3.After finishing above measure ,analysis the reason of accident to prevent it.
Elevator stops between two floors
!.nform passenger about the following things:
Stay in car is the safest way .Get rid of their fear.
Wait in car. t is dangerous to try to get out by force.
?.3 personnel familiar with rescue process to do following measure:
Cut off power of machine room.
One personnel on car top to confirm car position and contact
with personnel in machine room.
The other 2 personnel, one presses brake lever and another
moves handwheel.
3 personnel cooperate with each other to rescue passenger .
when elevator reaches proper position ,open door through
door operator by hand to get passengers out of car.
3.After finishing above measure ,analysis the reason of accident to prevent it.
Elevator stops because of power cut
!.f power supply will recover in a short time ,please tell passengers
to stay in car.
?.After power recovers ,tell passengers to press destination floor button
to start running again.
3.f power can not recover in a short period, rescue passengers by using

3)Emergency Rescue Measure When Happens Accident or Fault

.Need instruction of elevator specialist.
.t is forbidden to let other personnel to have the key of key switch box
& The distance between sill and car location is within 150600mm
Before using key hall door to open hall door, please confirm the elevator is at this floor.
Get passengers out of cage.
The young, old, sick, disable ,pregnant need help of outside at this time.)
& The distance between sill and car location is above 160600mm
Using brake lever to place elevator to door zone and then rescue passengers.
Turn off main power. Using interphone to confirm car door is not opened and
no one is crossing car door )
4)Method of Adjustment of elevator's Location

Adjustment of elevator location by manual type
QCut off main power.or it may cause accident)
Take off the cover of brake.
Mount handwheel and brake lever.
Press brake lever and rotate handwheel.
Press brake lever repeatedly to let elevator go slowly. Pressing brake lever
for a long time will cause elevator run fast which may lead accident. So be careful.
Adjust elevator location through the mark on main rope)
The above job need 2 personnel to cooperate with each other to finish.

For machineroomless elevator, using foot or hand brake release lever to release
brake to rescue passengers.

Through check point to confirm elevator's location.
The above job need 2 personnel to cooperate with each other to finish.

Connect lever to brake to release .shown as picture beside.
&Hydraulic elevator brake release lever in CP`
For hydraulic elevator ,using manual valve to change elevator's location.
The procedure is as follow:
QCut off main poweror it will cause accident)
Using hand valve in machine room to change elevator's location
and rescue passengers in car.
The above procedure should be done by 2 personnel

The job should be done by manufacture and technical personnel.
6) Troubleshooting Tips
For solving trouble and reducing stop time caused by fault, please know the situation when
happens trouble. Contact HYUNDA service center when you can not solve the trouble.
