Please keep this in mind when designing your figures and tables etc. This paper presents a study made in order to find different optimal configurations of positioning fluid dumpers on high buildings for dissipating the seismic energy. The study was made using -inite .lements /ethod and A01+1 program" on a ten stories building structure. The first step of this optimi2ation process is to consider the fluid dumpers ha3ing linear dumping properties in order to achie3e a 4uicker con3ergence of the solutions. 5n order to obtain the influence of the dumpers configurations on the structure dumping there were made multiple different configurations of dumpers positioned on different locations on the building. All these models were analy2ed using modal analysis and it was obtained the modal dumping of the building structure for the first 3ibration modes of the structures for each configuration. The graphics obtained can be used for achie3ing different degrees of seismic energy dissipation for the analy2ed building.
