activating this *hakra seeds of e0trasensory potential sprout forth. This *hakra by influencing the sub conscious mind and psychic center activates the right half of the brain called ,#ilent Area/. It has 6 petals and is the union of pituitary and pineal glands. At the focal point between the eyebrows are situated these glands and it controls all bodily functions. Activation of #ahasrar means activating the centres of 5rey .atter of the brain. #ushumna nerve which rises from the base called .ooladhar *hakra takes along with it the Ida $5anga' and &ingala $2amuna' nerves i.e. left to right and then from right to left. Ida which is on the left side is called *handra <aadi and has >ve electrical impulses. &ingala is on the right side and is called #urya <aadi which has a ?ve electrical impulse. It has 6 points of union which by uniting to #ushumna as #arawati makes a B:fold union at the .ooladhar and Ajna *hakras. Ida and &ingala nerves represent the parasympathetic and sympathetic nerves system.
