Environmental Service Systems People who work in this group of occupations figure out ways to protect our environment. They do that by developing ways to control air pollution and to recycle waste materials. Animal Systems People who work in this group of occupations figure out better ways to produce meat, poultry, eggs and dairy products. They study farm animals. Some inspect and determine the quality of animals and food. Others buy and market farm animals.

Health Informatics People who work in this group of occupations manage health-related information and facilities. The group includes those who manage hospitals, health centers, nursing homes, and other medical care facilities. It also includes those who collect information about clients, record it, and make it available to those who need to know it. Plant Systems People who work in this group of occupations study plants and how they grow. They help farmers to take care of natural resources and protect the environment. They also figure out ways to increase the food value of crops and how to make them less subject to pests and lack of rain. Animal Systems People who work in this group of occupations figure out better ways to produce meat, poultry, eggs and dairy products. They study farm animals. Some inspect and determine the quality of animals and food. Others buy and market farm animals. Quality Assurance People who work in this group of occupations have the responsibility of making sure that whatever a company delivers is of good quality. Some choose the materials that are used to make the product to assure that they meet the highest standard. Others test the product after production to make sure that it looks and operates correctly. Some constantly test products against legal requirements to make sure that they conform. Logistics Planning and Management Services People who

They collect information about needs and then design a system to meet those needs. In doing so, they must follow regulations set by local and state governments. Some in this group inspect transportation systems to assure that they meet required standards. Diagnostics Services People who work in this group of occupations perform a wide variety of medical tests as ordered by medical doctors. The purpose of these tests is to gather information to help doctors make an accurate diagnosis of a medical problem. Information Support and Services Many who work in this group of occupations collect, enter, and analyze data by computer. Some organize computer databases. Others write computer programs. Still others design the logic of computer systems and oversee their operation.
