Luther Quote: “We should realize the great, severe, and terri-
ble wrath of God against sin because of the fact that this wrath
could be turned aside in no other way and atonement could be
made by no other payment than by this one sacrifice, that is, the
death and blood of the Son of God, and that by our sins all of us
had aroused this wrath of God and were the why the Son of God
had to be sacrificed on the cross and had to shed His blood.”
Daily Prayers:
Sunday: For missionaries Rev. David and Joyce Erber and their chil-
dren, Luke, Jonathan, and Naomi, as they faithfully serve in Nigeria and
other countries of West Africa, working to equip church leaders and
LCMS partner churches in their Gospel ministry.
Monday: For missionaries Ivan and Jennifer Rasch and their children,
Heather and Timothy, as they serve at Hillcrest School in Jos. Pray that
the Lord would use them to touch their students and many Christian
