Guidelines for processing applications for disbursement of PG
scholarship to University Departments and Constituent Colleges of
Universities presently not approved by AICTE under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Scheme for the Academic Year 2013-14
For the University Department:
1. All the University Departments and Constituent Colleges of Universities shall download appropriate form available on AICTE web site at web-site: www.aicte- india.org>students>scholarships> Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)>DBT for University Departments and Constituent Colleges for procedures and formats 2. Hard copy of the filled application form must reach Advisor (RIFD), 4 th Floor, East Tower, NBCC Place, Bhisham Pitamaha Marg. Pragati Vihar, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, 110003 on or before 25 th April, 2014 3. Applications duly filled and complete in nature will be scrutinized at AICTE 4. An Expert Visit (EVC) will be conducted to all eligible University Departments / Constituent Colleges of University to verify the requirement for the conduct of PG courses as per the AICTE norms and standards. 5. The scope of this EVC shall be limited to the purpose of disbursement of PG scholarship. 6. The University Departments/ Constituent Colleges of Universities are required to submit AFFIDAVIT 1 in the format prescribed. 7. The University Departments/ Constituent Colleges of Universities are required to collect undertaking in a prescribed format (UNDERTAKING 1 ) from all the eligible GATE/GPAT qualified students admitted in PG courses. 8. Applications which are through will be given unique user id and password by AICTE. The same will be communicated to the applicant University Department or Constituent College on the e-mail provided in the application form. 9. The University department/ Constituent College will upload relevant information on AICTE web portal using the user id and password provided to them.
Documents to be collected by EVC:
1. Affidavit by the University as per AFFIDAVIT 1
2. Undertaking from all the students as per UNDERTAKING 1
3. Copy of the GATE/GPAT score card 4. Bank Passbook details of student indicating Bank Account number, IFSC code, Name of bank, branch and name of the student.(Joint account not allowed) 5. Caste Certificate (as applicable) 6. Caste Validity Certificate (as applicable) 7. Non Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate (as applicable) 8. Certificate of Disability (PD, as applicable)
