You can find available animals on our website: bigheartspetrescue.com. You can always visit our rescue center during our adoption hours: M-F 9 am 5 pm Sat. 9 am 7 pm

When we find potential matches, we will arrange for you to visit the animal. Please arrive 30 minutes before closing. 4 1

Application & Survey Final Check Up & Fees


We do a final check up before you can
bring the animal home. Fees range from $90 - $200 (Depends on type and how many) Spay/neuter surgery, & selected vaccinations are included with fees.

Next, fill out our application for adoption. This required survey helps us find the best animal for your home.
Big-Hearts Pet Rescue is a non-profit organization and non-killing shelter who aid dogs and cats of all breeds through our services of rescue, shelter, and adoption programs.

After successfully completed all the paper work you may bring home your new pet. Remember to contact us if you need any information or support.

Meet with one of our adoption advisors so we can know you & your preferences. This will help us find the best possible adoption matches.

We cannot be responsible for veterinary bills or treatment of an animal after leaving our shelter. State law restricts us from providing general veterinary services to privately owned animals.

Every pet adopted from Big-Hearts Pet Rescue comes with our lifetime promise. If, for any reason, you can no longer care for your dog, he or she is always welcome to come back. We reserve the right to approve all adoptions, as we are committed to the welfare of the animals in our care, as well as meeting your personal needs. We thank you for your cooperation.
