Where is the love that theyve said?

Good morning ladies and gentlemen and good morning maam, its my pleasure to join you this morning. For more than 30 thousand years of existence of human beings, we, human beings have shared humanity. Not only sharing, but we also recovered the fallen humanity.

Ideology, according to Karl Marx, it is a false consciousness used by a certain group of people to justify themselves. An idea of one person can affect the huge group of people, and it can move those people easily. Like what Adolf Hitler did to Germans. Ideology is also known as the science of ideas. The word ideology is usually used in politics. There are two big rivals in the ideology, a democracy and a communism. However, should those come first before the brotherhood? Ideology should be expressed in a way the mankind should do, but not in a barbaric way. A victim of ideology is the Korean peninsula. An ideology, just an ideology separated the brothers who lived together for more than 5 thousand years, 3 million people died within 3 years and 100 thousand families still havent met one another for 60 years. And only because of that, they criticize one another and still pointing their brothers with a gun. They spent 32.5 billion dollars last year for defending themselves from their brother, what an irony. If that is the case, the tomorrow of the Korean peninsula is not that bright. Who will be fine if he doesnt talk to his brother to solve the problem, who is at the same time his enemy just right in front of him? Its not only limited in the Korean peninsula. Everywhere around the world, this is still happening. How much more do we have to see that the brothers kill their brothers? How much more do we have to wait for the conflicts between the brothers to be stopped? Look at Middle East, its been a hundred years. What is so much important to do, even while killing their brothers? Some said that religion is not an ideology, but for me, if the religion is just used to justify what they have done, it is more and worse than the ideology. We cant find any love that theyve said in the place where there is a conflict because of religion. Where is the love theyve said? Where is the love that they are following? And what is the love they are following? Also here in the Philippines, the same thing is happening. Why they have to hurt the innocence to believe what and who they believe? I have no right to judge them, but what I want to say to them is to look what they have done and what they are still doing now. However, if they dont realize what they have done, I just dont know if their creators will be happy about what just happened. I dont criticize the ideology, but what I criticize and hate is the wrong and foolish way to approach ideology. The ones who are making a conflict and saying that because of the religion, brotherhood or ideology even dont know what their creators want and they dont know what is at the center of the ideology they are following. We have to stop these sad events. We have to tell them how bad that they are doing right now. If we even dont realize the seriousness of these situations, our society in the future will never be bright. Sophocles said Today that I have lived in vain is the tomorrow that a person who died yesterday

truly wanted to live. I am not saying that we have to move today. I am not also saying that we have to go to Middle East and tell the people to stop firing the guns, but what I want to say is that at least, we have to be useful to our society for the changes in the future. However, how can we change our society if we dont do our best these days as students? This generation, we ourselves have to be ready for the changes coming. And those changes should be made by our hands. It wouldnt be easy. It would be like finding water on the desert. However, we are not alone. We work together for the change and if we do our best, I am sure, we can stop the conflicts and wars. Thank you very much and God bless you.
