Headmasters Corner
Welcome back to you all, I hope you had a thoroughly enjoyable Easter break and were able to enjoy the sunshine. The children have returned in fine form this week and it was lovely to see the Lower School children planting their seeds in the Lower School Garden. We particularly welcome the new children that have joined the school this term; Corey in Year 1, Zachary in Year 2, William and Anya in Year 5, Mathis in Year 6 and Roland and Mathias in Year 7. We also welcomed Lewis and Angel into Year 3 and 4 ahead of their start in September. I am delighted to announce that Mr Perez will be teaching Spanish to Years 5-8 this term as an additional modern foreign language. My first congratulations of the term go to the pupils who sat their Music Theory examinations. The results were outstanding and highlight once again the high standard of music within the school. Speech Day this year will be for all children from Reception to Year 8 and attendance is compulsory so that we can celebrate the end of a very successful year together. Following on the success of our last Open Day we will be holding an Open Evening on Friday 16th May. We have an exciting evening of activities planned for all of our children and Mr Jones will shortly be writing to you with further information. And finally, FOTM will be holding their AGM next Wednesday evening. Have a super term and we look forward to seeing you at the many events we have planned.

Congratulations to Oliver Edge in Year 2 who has taken his beautiful picture over the holidays. He has remembered and used the techniques we have been learning in photography club about silhouettes and shadow.
