Step right up to Memorials Next Blood Drive!! It was exciting to see new donors at our last drive and were looking forward to seeing them and even more new faces. Come on out Tuesday, May 6th (coming soon!!) and make a much-needed donation for someone in need. Doesnt take long, doesnt hurt (trust us ). Theres a sign-up sheet in the Welcome Center but come anytime from 3:00 until 7:30 pm. As always, questions/concerns can be directed to Marie Lau or Joan Johnson

Family Sock Dance May 3rd from 3-5pm our Girl's Loving Christ (GLC) Teen Mission Group is sponsoring a Family Sock Dance for our Preschool as part of our Rise Up & Build Campaign. This is a Fellowship Event meant to foster relationships between church and preschool families. It is a free afternoon of dancing, music, sock puppets, snacks, kid friendly "hopping" games, and crazy sock contests with prizes. The target age is families with preschool students, but everyone is welcome. It is a come and go as you please event and we hope you will HOP on over and join in the fun.

Interested In Helping With VBS??? This Summer's Music & Mission (VBS) will be a musical called "God of the City". It will be held from June 23rd - June 27th. We will need lots of helpers to make everything work. Let April Ramsey know if you are interested serving. Also if you are interested in helping with curriculum planning, we will be having a second meeting in the church Library this Monday April 28th at 1:00 m and anyone is welcome.

Job Searches A few of our brothers and sisters in Christ are currently looking for new jobs. One is a dad with previous experience as an Operations and Call Center Executive- full time. The other is a mom looking for admin, clerical, data in/out office work- part time. Her first degree was in office support. If you know of any position openings in these fields and would like to pass it on so they can send in resumes, please email or call April Ramsey so she might share with them.

Save Your 2-Liter Bottles A local gentleman is collecting 2-Liter soda bottles and donating them to Brookwood for their greenhouses. If you have extra empty/cleaned bottles there will be a collection box in the Welcome Center.

Women In Mission and Lutheran World Relief Thank you for listening to God's prompting and opening your hearts and sharing your many blessings with those less fortunate who are served through Lutheran World Relief. Using your donations, Deb Plautz purchased the supplies and Women In Mission assembled 500 Personal Care Kits. An additional 296 pounds of bar soap were also purchased. Our church's quilting group donated 83 quilts they made and 6 blankets. With the help of Don Thomas's and Martin Haskett's trucks, all of the above was delivered to Epiphany Monday morning, the 21st. From there, a company will deliver, for free, the area's donations to LWR's warehouse in Maryland. Once received, everything will be processed and orders filled and shipped out. Also from your contributions, LWR will be sent a check for $1,750.98 to cover the overseas shipping costs of everything our church donated. Thank you to everyone who donated, assembled, sewed, and drove. The recipients are truly grateful! To God be the glory!!!
